Does this sleep mask make you feel hot, (as.other foam masks do make me feel hot)?

I would have to suppose everyone has a different comfort zone, but it does not make me or my wife hot. I haven't tried any other sleep mask, so I don't have anything to compare it to.

Has the dye issue been resolved yet? Can customers feel confident they won't have to make a return or have ruined pillowcases?

I have had these for more than 60 days. I was wearing the blue mask the most often at first. The black mask has been washed twice since I received my order. I woke up to a big black stain on my off white pillow case and it happened about 3 days ago. So the dye issue has not been resolved. I have not contacted the seller though; but I hope to do that soon. Very frustrating to deal with things like this. Never had any problems with the blue color if that helps.

Can this be machine washing?

Yes, but we suggest you put it in a laundry bag to help it last longer.

How do the straps connect?

The straps are connected using Velcro. This ensures adjustability of the straps which customers can tighten or loosen according to their head size, but at the same time providing stability and guarantee that it cannot be easily removed when worn during sleep.
