Genuine Shimano cassette
Genuine Shimano cassette with oem packaging. Smooth shifting and quiet drivetrain with RD-M5120 derailleur. Needed a 1.85 shim for DT swiss 350 HG hub to take out play. Replaced tired Microshift cassette and Aventx derailleur, same pull ratio.

Great replacement for my ebike
I have a Trek Allant +8.After a couple of years I let the chain go too long before replacing. This caused a couple of gears on the caseette to wear. Once a new chain was installed, gears 9 and 10 would skip under pressure. New cassette and problem solve.Pay atttention to your ABCs of bike maintenance. Always keep your chain properly lubed and replace it before it wears and.elongates to the point it damages the cassette or chain ring.

11-42 Cassette
I'm very pleased with this 11-42 cassette. It is paired with a 42-26 crank to give me over a 6:1 range of ratios on a light touring bike. I am using the Deore RD M4120 derailleur just fine with this combination, in a 2x10 gear train.

Very nice upgrade to my old 11-36 tooth cassette
I was able to upgrade to existing 11-36 to this 11-42 without having to replace anything else, I did have adjust the B screw on my derailleur to max, so the 11- 46 would not work with my current hardware. Gave me two more gears! Exactly what I needed.

Works right out of the box
Typical Shimano quality, I replaced an non-Shimano brand casstte which was giving me shifting issues. This casstte went to work immediately no isssues. I cannot comment on the durability as I have only had the device a few weeks. I use a KMC chain.

Nice Upgrade
Needed to replace a CS-HG500-10 cassette that came on the bike but wanted something with a little higher quality level for some off-road riding. The Deore CS-M4100-10 is fully compatible and probably a bit better option for the bike.
