Simple yet Wonderful
The Marshall Emberton is a testament to Marshall's commitment to quality and innovation. It seamlessly blends timeless design with cutting-edge technology, delivering a speaker that not only looks stunning but also sounds exceptional. The iconic Marshall logo adorns the front, paying homage to the brand’s heritage. Portability and Convenience: The Emberton’s compact size, weighing just 0.7 kilograms, makes it incredibly portable. Slip it into your bag or pocket, and you have a powerful sound system wherever you go. Sound Performance: Don’t be fooled by its size; the Emberton packs a punch. With two 10W drivers, it delivers a surprisingly rich and dynamic sound. The bass is deep and satisfying, the mids are clear, and the highs are crisp, offering a well-balanced audio experience. Even at high volumes, the sound remains distortion-free, showcasing Marshall’s commitment to audio excellence. In conclusion, the Marshall Emberton is a testament to Marshall’s engineering prowess. It defies its size, delivering a sound quality that rivals much larger speakers. Its robust build, impressive battery life, and excellent sound make it a top choice in the realm of portable Bluetooth speakers. Whether you’re a music enthusiast, a frequent traveller, or someone who values premium audio in a compact form, the Marshall Emberton is a stellar choice.

A simple, solid speaker
If you want great sound in a simple package, this bluetooth speaker will do the trick. Initially I found the control button kind of fiddly, but now that I have the hang of it I can manage it easily. Mostly I use this at home when watching movies or listening to the news with some music thrown in. A serious audiophile would probably want a speaker that allows for more control, but the sound profile suits my needs. I've had very little trouble with the speaker losing its connection. There are only a couple of spots in my apartment (~600 sq ft) where the connection breaks up; fortunately, the connection is solid everywhere else, particularly in those rooms where I mostly want to use it. Build quality feels good and solid, like it's going to hold up for a long time. The speaker did get a light spray of water on it one day when I'd left it on my balcony and it suddenly began to rain, but the speaker was just fine. Of course Marshall has a reputation for quality sound gear, but the price still feels a little high given how simple this is. However, if you can get it on sale (as I did) and bring the price down under $100, I think it's worth it.

Cool design and perfect size
Bought it two years ago. Just great! I use it mainly if I watch a movie on my iPad to have the best sound quality.

More than just sound
Awesome sound quality. I listened to the Beatles songs. The sound is rich and clear in detail, pleasurable to listen. When I tried some electronic music with very low bass, it kinda goes quiet when the frequencies go past under certain point but doesn't have problem to me because you wouldn't notice too much in most of the songs(depends on what you listen though). The song will still feel very dense. The bass is definitely great for its size, very impressed. Very durable feeling, a dense, solid speaker. Design is unique to other similar looking bluetooth speakers out there, many of them are just futuristic-ish cylinders, or just a flat box, but this one has a special golden button with red lights on top, some grills front and back, classic looking. Fits well on my desk, feels happy when I see it and touch it. Only downside is that there will be no app? if I'm correct. And also, it makes quite a noise when you turn it on and off. I find it satifying but seems like some don't. I do not regret buying it because it is much more than just high quality sound. It is the experience, the enjoyment of playing my favorite music, in a loud speaker with a better quality. Nov 8th 2021 update: Still working great, no problems

Huge sound, small footprint, great battery life, looks cool
I bought a bunch of these for friends and family because they sound great, are light weight and have a small footprint, have incredible battery life, and they look awesome. I’ve got a MegaBoom and a Bose mini, and the Marshall Emberton sounds as good as the MegaBoom with the footprint of the Bose, and a battery that lasts longer than both. The bass is excellent, and there’s both front- and rear-firing drivers for the stereo signal. I work in audio (not for Marshall), and I can tell these folks know what they’re doing. My only complaint is there’s no rugged case and strap-loop for it like the Bose (I can strap that on my bike and go rock hopping). Best part is the Bluetooth connection sounds. Like the MegaBoom’s bongos (which I like), the Emberton has chunky metal guitar chugs. Makes me chuckle every time.

Lack of treble & bass controls
This is a great little unit, overall. Was very easy to pair with my phone, and didn't require installing a new app. Came with a charging cord that I then needed to plug into one of those chunky cubes that goes into an electrical outlet for phone charging (none is provided with the product). It's small but puts out a decent amount of volume for its size, and has plenty of bass. Would be good for relatively small rooms. I ended up returning this and getting a more expensive portable Marshall speaker that has knobs that let me control treble and bass and gives off an even better sound. This unit kind of just whet my appetite!

Very good sound quality, Recharges easily and charge lasts long.
I used this speaker almost every day. Very good sound quality. Easy to pair to my phone. Recharging takes a couple of hours and lasts about a week or two. We have two of these speakers. Highly recommend this speaker

Wow !
What do I like about this Marshall Bluetooth Speaker? EVERYTHING Compact size does not mean this speaker has compact sound. This speaker is all you need to sync your music with a clear, superior sound boost. I remember the Marshall amps for my punk rock days. This is a replica of the Marshall amps and that's one of the reasons I chose this speaker. Sound quality has not been sacrificed and it is easy to use. It's all you need. I purchased this a week ago and bought another for my son this week. I will most likely purchase one for my hubby because he is using mine all the time, and yes we have different tastes in music. Look at others if you wish, or save time and get this little powerhouse, Marshall.

Incredible portable sound from a small package
I needed a speaker I could take anywhere - particularly outdoors or on holiday. I was particularly keen on the Bose sound core II- however it was a bit too beyond my budget. I came across the Marshall Emberton which looked the perfect size and build quality for my budget. Reviews were pretty good so went against my normal try before you buy and ordered. The sound quality is outstanding for its size- in my opinion equal to the bose at a lower price. Decent bass and volume and I would agree with other reviews that say it excels in the vocals. The build quality is solid and it looks fantastic wherever you put it. I particularly like the central rocker switch, which is responsive and quickly allows you to change tracks and volume with minimal fuss. The battery seems to last forever and the battery level indicator is a useful feature. Small criticism would be no aux input - although i bought it to be portable so unlikely ever to want to plug a device into it. Bluetooth range is ok - not fantastic I usually need to be in the same room to avoid any stuttering- I have come from using chromecast audio where range is not an issue- but less portable. I was surprised to read that despite it using Bluetooth 5.0 it uses an SBC codec rather than more recent AptX or AAC, which offer better latency and marginal improvement in sound quality. Not that I've noticed anything detrimental to the sound quality. Overall an outstanding portable speaker for the money!

It’s a Bonza!
Probably one of the best value for money BT speakers out there! Sound reproduction is typical of Marshall - like their amps! Beaudy!

Pass through charging!!! Amazing speaker!!!
The marshal speaker is nothing short of 5 stars. As big a sound as a device twice its size and it looks like a mini guitar amp. Pass through charging is the biggest hit, totally possible to charge while listening. And it’s small enough to fit in a laptop bag.

Top Design, top Klang
Fazit: Ein Spitzenlautsprecher in Punkto Klang.
