Can this be used on convertible roof?

I wouldn’t use it on a car top. There are other products designed specifically for auto soft tops. On a side note- this product, while effective, has a rather strong smell to it; even after it’s dry the smell will overwhelm you (at least it did me) for a couple days or so. If you’re using it on your carpet protectors spray them outside (not while they’re in the car) and allow them to dry for at least a day.

Does it make your mats slippery? How does does it stay on for realistically?

It didn’t make my carpeted mats slippery. It does have a unique smell but, that’ll dissipate after a few days. As to how it stays on…? That’s something you’d need to ask a chemist or someone with a technical background.

Does the residue it leaves make it easier or harder to vacuum off dog hair?

Didn’t see any change on either. Dog hairs come up no different after applying.

How long does each coat take to dry? And how many coats need applied?
