This tear stain remover comb seems well made and comes with 6 combs in the pack so, if one goes missing or breaks you have a supply. I agree that the comb removes the eye gunk from the sensitive eye area however, it does nothing for the actual red-ish/brown tear staining on white pets. The only way to achieve this is to keep up on the eye discharge (crusty stuff that accumulates around dogs eyes) by using the comb on your pet as soon as you notice it. Since there are extra, take one out and keep it in your bathroom or with your make-up as you can use the brush to shape your eye brows and the comb to run through your lashes before and after applying mascara or just whenever needed to separate the lashes or remove clumping that can occur after applying mascara. With the price being so low, receiving it so quickly, as well as the fact that their are extras and that it has many uses, I find it to be a great value. I would recommend this purchase, just do not expect it to work miracles by removing staining from your fur babies eye area without putting effort into it daily.

We have a Shih Tzu, she needs daily grooming under her eyes, this grooming tool has been great. Not too thick but thick enough, works well for under eyes and around her nose. The metal part can pierce your skin so be careful. The brush is soft and helps with cleaning.

These are perfect for getting those tangled hairs around your dog's face. The metal tines are great at getting through tear-stained fur or the bits of dinner on the muzzle. Be careful, though. Two of the brushes had metal tines that were needle-sharp. We used a metal file to blunt the tips. Make sure to check the comb side for sharpness before you use it, it's very easy to harm tender skin around a dog's face!

Its literally a cosmetic brow/lash brush. However, considerably cheaper since its targeted for pets. I kept one for myself and used the rest for my dogs eye boogers. Does the job well. Easier to use than the bulking fine tooth comb that comes in grooming kits.

After brushing him, I used this to remove “gunk” from my pup’s eyes, so no buildup.

The brush side works okay but I'm paranoid and I dont want to poke my dog side with the comb side cause its sharp. Doesn't help that my 4 lb dog hates and tries to bite me when I use it.

These are great for removing the dried eye goop from my dog's fur; I've found that using them while I bathe my dog makes it even easier.

Small comb size with close teeth to get the dried matter from the corners of the eyes. Long handle to keep your hands out of the way if your groom is less than happy. Will definitely purchase this again when necessary.

Very good quality and really does the job! They cleaned up my dogs tear stains a treat, but she wasn't keen on having it done! It took a lot of time to get her used to it
