These patches have been a lifesaver for me over the years. I can also add that you would never walk into my home and not find a spare box of these. So yes, it is safe to say that I am a fan. Do they eliminate the actual headache? No. Does the cooling sensation lessen the pain thus providing some relief from debilitating headaches? YES! Here's a little background on me. For years, Ive suffered from mild to moderate daily tension headaches. With that being said, I am always looking for non-pharmaceutical relief methods to help alleviate the pain as to avoid rebound headaches caused by habitual medicine intake. I have purchased other brands of cool wraps intended for the forehead or neck, but I find that none stay cool long enough or work as well as these. Getting up to retrieve a new cooling pack when you have a debilitating headache becomes an annoyance and an additional headache. These patches do just the trick. You unstick, apply directly to your forehead, and it will adhere pretty well as long as you aren't moving around too much. It's as easy as that. Although slightly cool upon application, they definitely cool much more after a few minutes of wear. One tip I would add is to put the box of patches in your refridgerator as I find that the additional cooling effect works well and extends the use of the patch. This product has not made my headaches disappear-nothing besides medicine ever has-but they are definitely alleviating the pain much more than any other methods Ive used thus far. Although I don't find that they work for close to 8 hours, they do stay cool for atleast an hour or two which is better than any other patches that Ive found. Also, my favorite time to apply these bad boys is right before bed as it helps me to fall asleep. Overall, I am very happy with this purchase and would happily recommend these patches to any other chronic headache sufferers whether your headache's origin be migraine, tension, or stress. P.S. This was my go-to headache remedy when I was pregnant and breastfeeding as it is completely safe.

These patches are easy to use and put one. These help with my pain relief for my migraines. The size of the patch fits well on my forehead. They are odorless and comfortable. I use them frequently and love them!

I have struggled with migraine attacks for years. These cooling patches have helped me a lot. They help lessen the severity of the pain and help me to sleep better. I have noticed that my attacks haven't lasted as long since I've started using them. I also don't usually have to take painkillers for as long. In my case, I find that the patches are really only cool enough to be effective for 3 to 4 hours. They still feel cool at that point, but not nearly as cool as a new one, and it's worth changing it to me. I also have very sensitive/allergic skin, and I was worried that these patches might bother my skin. They do-- it's around the edges of the patch that my skin gets irritated, not underneath the sticky part of the patch itself. I have to leave the patches off for awhile or my skin gets too itchy. Another thing I would like to mention is the smell, since I am also allergic to many scented products. Unfortunately, these patches are scented. They are "lightly scented" with menthol and lavender oil, and I do NOT like the scent. It bothers me, but not so much that I can't use the patch. If you have struggled with migraines and their various symptoms, I would recommend that you try these cooling patches. They won't make the migraine go away, but they will help you feel better and sleep better while it's there.

These work amazing for migraines

I don't know what I would do without these. I discovered them when I was pregnant and got a massive migraine but didn't want to take any medication and they helped so much! I have used them ever since. I use these patches for every single migraine I get, which is at least once a month, and have used these patches for more than 5 years. I put one of these on the second I feel a migraine coming on and the cooling sensation immediately starts to dull the pain. I use them on my forehead, (you can choose your neck or forehead), when I did the back of my neck they didn't stay on as well as they do on the forehead. I will say that if you get sweaty they will start lifting up from the corners, but do stay in place it just is a little bit.The cooling sensation lasts for hours and you can feel them working. Compared to other brands this one actually works for hours and hours, while the other brands seem to work great at first and then not so well after a half hour or so. HIGHLY RECCOMMEND THESE!

I have used these a few times now and decided they get a nice cooling effect and some mild relief of my migraines. I personally can not stand to have actual ice/gel packets on my forehead since it is to cold and actually makes my migraine worse. These pads are more of a cooling effect than a deep freeze feel. So if you like deep freeze this probably isn't the product for you. As much as I like the cooling effect using the pads don't give 'total' relief it just helps to take the pain down a notch. Also helps to get some relief till the pain medicine kicks in. So handy to have to help ease the pain but will not give you total migraine relief. Also I have a little trouble keeping the pads sticking to my forehead so I put one of my elastic head band round the top of my head to keep in place.

I have been buying these headache pads for a long time. Before this, I bought something called "Migraine Ice Pads", but they are no longer around. Here's how they work - there are two forehead sized pads in each sealed enclosure. There are two enclosures per box. You can reseal any individual enclosure, so you could have 4 different headache pads with each box. But this is what I do for maximum affect - I take one of the pads and clip off a teeny bit of each corner and put that one on my forehead (otherwise it adheres to my hair which isn't good.) I take the second pad, and cut it in half and place those on my temples (with another tiny cutout to avoid my eyes.) And I lay down and let them help relieve the pain. If you have a migraine or tension headache, these pads will work for a couple of hours. At least for me, it's not that much more than that, but it's enough time to allow you to rest and/or fall asleep. And they do get cold, really cold, although it takes around 5- 10 minutes. (So don't be disappointed when you first put them on and they are merely cool to the touch.) I also have autoimmune problems, and often get fevers. These pads are wonderful for that, and they cool and comfort you. The only problem is that with a fever, they really don't stay cold very long at all, but again, they're wonderful while it lasts. What a comfort if you have the flu! It's true that these are pretty expensive, but all the pads like this are. Do know that they really work, and that when are in the midst of a headache, they are a godsend. Highly recommended. I've been using them for years. Excellent to use on kids, too.
