Helpful
Have been using these for about 5 weeks now and seems to help in conjunction with the homemade peppermint spray (peppermint oil and water) we spray every other week around kitchen. Unfortunately after plugging as many as possible, it became apparent quickly that we still have access points we can’t get to behind the cabinets in the kitchen without ripping up the counter. So I put these dice around the apt with the majority in the kitchen and I add a few drops of peppermint oil to them every once in a while just to keep them super scented for our furry little uninvited guests. Seems to be working so far as before they would walk around even when we were home! I literally watched one walk in from under the stove and go into the living room to his death thanks to one of our well placed and baited traps. Haven’t seen one since the application of peppermint spray and mice dice though and haven’t seen any poop either. Will try and update if we do!

READ THIS REVIEW!!!! I have a cure for LOTS of pest
This is my second review. You should refill these dice and make them even stronger!!! I have a big tip for you. Refill the dice with peppermint oil occasionally. Actually peppermint is a great deterrent for lots of things. I planted peppermint around my front door and I don’t have a wasp problem anymore. It seems every bug hates peppermint and will go away!!!! It’s the deterrent for bugs of all kinds.I have an old country house and there are small places they seem to get in the attic. We tried everything including electronic gadgets with some relief but we still got mice. I tried the cubes and we don’t have mice now. I’m in shock this product is excellent! No more mice and the cubes are refillable. What’s not to love here?

Cute cubes that don't deter mice
Did not work at all. I put all six cubes in my kitchen, mouse just ran by them every day.

satisfactory
So, for the price point you pay mice dice work somewhat. We have been having an infestation with mice at our cabin thought these might deter the mice away from entering cabin in first place. I also bought an extra bottle of peppermint oil to add to the dice to have a stronger scent. After having the mice dice out for a couple of months, we still found a couple of mice. Not as many as before but a couple. So, these do work alittle. We still need to call pest control. I would recommend buying just to try and prevent mice from entering your home,

Under engine bonnet for RV
Put all (6) them under my doghouse hood in my 1994 Fleetwood Southwind Storm back in mid Feb 2021. It's now 05/14/2021 and I'll report back here soon when I check the RV. I started with 3 rating will up it if need be.Update: Pulled the RV out of storage 2nd week of June and gave the engine area a thorough check. No mice poop anywhere. Upping the rating to 5. They can easily be popped open to add more peppermint oil. Purchased some 100% pure essential peppermint.Update (2/18/23) they continue to work very well no sign of mice in engine bay. I did give them one more soak in peppermint oil after they had been in for roughly 2 months. But prior to re-soaking they did still have strong peppermint smell. I've placed (5) in engine bay and (1) just on the inside of generator cover. The (5) I placed in engine bay are on each side of intake manifold, on top air filter housing, top of fan shroud and top of upper radiator support frame.

Works as Described!
The media could not be loaded. After I caught a little mouse in my garage, I set up the dice. I let them sit for 24 hours and the next day, set up to catch and release traps. No more mice! The scent is pretty strong in an enclosed space so it must be ten times potent to rodents. As for the mouse... being a mouse lover, he upgraded from pest to pet! Needless to say Coco Bean is loving his new digs.I gave the dice four stars because I want to see how long the scent lasts. But I do recommend them for house mice!

Oil saturation is weak.
Odor disappears within a week. Can recharge somewhat by immersing in liquid peppermint oil.
