Best olive oil ever (imho)
Frescobaldi Laudemio has for more than a decade been my favorite olive oil overall: a beautiful yellow oil with great character that is an excellent finishing oil and great for salads. My foodie daughter, on first tasting it, said "I never knew anything like this existed." She was right. It has been very consistently excellent, but previously not the best olive oil I ever tasted. With the October 2013 First Pressing, that has changed. It is an intense other worldly green and it is most definitely the best oil ever IMHO. Last Saturday night a great local chef came over to cook some Iberico de bellota pluma (if you don't know what that is you should find out) that I had. He was nearly as impressed with this oil as he was with the pork. Enough said.

Organic just as bood available @ cheaper price.
I have had two bottles of this, and I found other trusted olive oil produces who do not adulterate their olive oil and almost half the price. This is good olive oil but a little research and you can have just as good at a less expensive price.

Frescobaldi Laudemio first pressing 2012 Harvest
This olive oil is good but way to expensive for the small size of it's bottle. I thought I was buying a larger sized item, when I received it it was more like a large cologne bottle!

Clean peppery finish
I tried this about ten years ago at a friends home who also happened to be Italian. We were having bruschetta and he had me drizzle the oil over it. I fell in love with it. Most oils leave varying after-taste or film on the tongue. This did not have either. Some same it's a little expensive, but once you try it, you may no longer think so.

Frescobaldi first pressing 2011.
The product is of the highest quality. I couldn't find one better if I tried. Great for finishing pasta, artichokes and meats. The peppery finish is good on salads and my favorite for drizzling on slices of garlic bread. My wife and I love it.
