Awesome!
I love the 1.0mm graphic pen, it's a pleasure to write with in all settings because it far surpasses any regular pen. The line is fine and crisp and it's so incredibly smooth to write with. The 2.0mm chisel tip is also fun for drawing and sketching, it's a great tip that creates a bold line and glides well over any type of paper. Now, the 3.0mm has me stumped. It's next to impossible to do anything with, without the result being an absolutely comedic disaster that will leave you wondering, 'who thought this was a good idea?' That being said, I'm super happy with the first two and will be buying them again, just separately. I thought the price on this was fantastic and it shipped in what felt like half a day, so overall it was a great buy!

Smooth..
These are really nice pens. They are an absolute pleasure to use. The ink flows so smoothly onto the paper that using them makes me smile. The pens are well designed. Unlike the Alvin Penstix that I also use, the Sakura pens have a long barrel which keeps the pencil clip from contacting my hand when I use them. The clips on both pen brands are removable, but I leave them on to prevent the pens from rolling off my implement shelf. The Sakura pens, like the Alvin, really need a more pronounced tip marking on the barrel. The Sakura's have the numbers "1" "2" "3" in red ink, but it doesn't stand out as well as you would think. There is a lot of text on the pen barrel, and the red number isn't highly visible and doesn't stand out well. There is a secondary tip marking on the barrel, but it is so small as to be ineffective. There is only one red number on the barrel, so if the cap/clip isn't oriented just right, the size indicator isn't visible. This causes me to check the pens when I pick them up or go to the trouble of laying them in size order. This is a hassle. Simply having a more pronounced size indicator would be great. Interestingly, the Alvin pens use rings that encircle the barrel: 1 ring for .3mm, 2 rings for .5 etc. but the rings don't stand out well. I don't know why Sakura hasn't changed this. It is a frustrating shortcoming for an excellent product. I would have rated the pens 4.5 stars if that was an option. Highly recommended.
