Brilliant Storage Device
For a little under a year I have used this piece for just my main computer as extra storage that I had been dying for. It has been pretty much fantastic. You get around 980 total storage to use. Its a pretty solid external drive, feels sturdy but is very small. Its definitely had an impact on my games, mainly when booting them up. Downloads speeds are significantly quicker as well which has been greatly helpful when needing things downloaded asap. Only just recently did I use this drive with another computer/laptop when I was going to Glasgow for 3 nights and when I had some work to do. It had a bitlock on it which makes me feel better if anyone ever somehow got this drive and tried using it. It worked great, connected straight away and worked no different to how it does on my computer at home. Its brilliant I think my main love for this drive is the price of this. Much cheaper than most others and feels like it works just as good as them too. Definitely recommend.

Would Recommend
Good works as expected. Easy connection with MacBook. Comes with usb c cable. Small and sleek and easy to transport. It’s compatible with Mac and the speed is not too bad - I use it for games.

Yes can heartily recommend
However, not without some bother. On fitting to my note9 the phone would not register the usb storage. The Notac instructions were of no use. After much frustration a Google search revealed a YouTube clip explaining how to reformat the device. It still took the phone a couple of minutes after reformatting to accept the device. It works now both without problem and very quickly. Finally, I have to say Amazon delivery has been phenomenal on this occasion, ordered at 5pm, item delivered at 7.57am next day!!!

Excellent 1TB drive - be aware of possible cable shielding issue
Great 1TB drive - lightweight, fast and, so far, reliable. ** One small issue. I used this with a Mac Mini and as soon as I plugged it in lost my wi-fi connection. It appeared that the provided cable lacks proper shielding and that as soon as I used a different cable the issue was resolved. This may only be an issue where the wi-fi controller is positioned close to the USB outlets **

Excellent value for money with quick speeds!
Excellent value for money. For the price you pay you get an absolute speedy small SSD. The SSD itself comes with a leather pouch, USB-C to USB-A adapter and a 30CM USB A to USB C data cable. The drive is small, thin and light weight (Think of a Milky Way bar!). I tested this drive on my PC and the speeds given match what has been said in description. I am lucky to to have a motherboard which has a USB 3.2. Gen 2 USB A&C ports at the back. On the front PC case (NZXT H510) I have a USB-C port and USB A port, unfortunately the motherboard does not have a USB 3.2 Gen 2 Front header, so the speeds here are only at 5Gbps (USB 3.1 Gen 1). The first image with speeds at 458 is the front IO ports, this is a decent speed with quick transfers even though it is not at is maximum speed. This was tested at 1 GiB. The second image with the speeds at 509 was tested on the USB 3.2 Gen 2 port 1GiB, as you can see the speeds have increased quite a bit both read and write, with surprisingly writes being slightly faster (but we could probably ignore this was this was only 1 test) The third image shows tests using 16GIB and the speeds are still fast on the Gen 2 port at over 500MB/s The fourth image this time using 10 16 MiB data and the drive speeds increase to it's advertised 550 MB/S impressive! The 5th image shows copying files from a Kingston USB data traveller (128GB) to the SSD 11GB of data (ISO files of Linux OS) this took around 60 seconds and stayed at a consistent speed of 200MB/S very good! The 6th images shows copying from the SSD to my internal NVME (Downloads folder) again 11GB of data and this was being written at 460MB/s (My internal drive reaches reads/writes at around 2GB second). The 7th image shows copying the same files 11GB of data from my desktop PC to the SSD this was being done at speeds of 387MB/s these are very good speeds for a small drive. Lastly, the last image shown at speeds of 44MB/s this occurred when using a USB 3.0 cable so be warned you need a good quality reliable USB 3.2. Gen 2 cable to get the maximum speeds, the speeds may also be affected by external USB Hubs/Docks. --------------------------------- LINUX TESTS --------------------------------- I briefly tested this on Kali Linux copying the same files (no images) I was getting speeds of 360MB/s writes copying from laptop to SSD. (The laptop has an NVME at 2GB/s speed) This was with the drive at around 200GB capacity. Once I cleared this and started at 232GB (The actual disk space useable) I first initially got 700 MB/s for smaller 2GB files and then the speed dropped down to 400/500MB/s writing files to SSD from laptop. This is still very good speed, it took 20 seconds copying those files compared to 10 minutes when I copy from my USB Stick! Overall the price/value ratio is excellent the speed on the drive means I know longer need to wait 10 minutes for files to copy. One of the reasons I purchased this was because of the slow file transfers of USB sticks (looking at you Kingston!), this solves that problem and I can quickly get back to work. The drive is small enough to fit a pocket back. There are no negatives about this, personally I didn't need the leather pouch think it's just additional waste and not environment friendly, but this is a minor personal issue.

No Customer Service.... at all
It is a fast portable device, perfect for daily backing up of a laptop. However, what was far from perfect was that it didn't work on arrival. I tried lots of things, and got no response at all from Netac. I finally realised it was the cable they sent which was faulty. I used one that I had already that worked. THEN the password I used for security disappeared. Couldn't find how to reset it. Again, no response from Netac. THEN it got stuck during the updating process, several times. I thought maybe it was full of data but couldn't find how to check. Next day it didn't get stuck on the updating process. I still wanted to find out how to check if the device was full / nearly full. I did not find away and again, no response from Netac. Could have been a great device, but there were no written instructions and no customer service despite a support email provided. I never received a response. Amazon promised a refund. Won't buy from Netac again.

Light and fast.
So far it is working with no fails. Really light, I would say than the cable to connect it, one I bought, is heavier than this SSD. Plug in the proper port (usb 3.2) makes it really fast to move files. Great device. One thing for those with no regular use in disk like this. When is conneted to an android, will have the normal folders you can find in your phone, in case asks to format it. If you plan to plug in a PC or mac, just format it as exFAT, with this format you can plug in any computer -windows, linus or mac-. That is the best you can do to be sure you can reach the content with no problems about formatting.

MOST AFFORDABLE
This product only has half the speed of other SSD drives of this size. But for many, this product costs less than half the cost of others of this size. Ask yourself carefully what you do, exactly, to require to pay out of your own pocket upto two or three times the cost of this little. I can now use my current HDD, with a spinning disk working at a slow speed, only when I want to for Backups, Now I can put this same size SSD drive permanently onto my Laptop (via a workstation) to use as an external drive for my work area, with my documents and it is so swift, so quick and stable at a most affordable price.

Più che un SSD, una Rivoluzione Tascabile! ⚡💻🖥️📱
🥁 Conclusione: In sintesi?

Didn't work. Don't recommend.
The disk was corrupted before I managed to even copy any files onto it. I would not recommend this product. I've purchased a slightly more expensive alternative from a reputable brand instead. It's working great :)

Satisfecho
No requiere instalación, solo conectar y usar.
