Unable to use at all
Amazing promoted this and I bought it..less than half a year later the app is gone and the company shuttered without notice. It would've been nice if the app was kept around for the customers it cheated but now the only thing you can use it for is to measure your weight. Once you run out of batteries though, you need to reset the scale but you can o it do that via the app. Now I have an expensive brick.

Pivotal company shut down, scale bluetotooth features does not work
I bought both the scale and the activity tracker watch and now I realized that they don't work because the company has ben shut down. [...]/ you can see the company posted "Thanks for visiting Pivotal Living. We regret to inform you that due to unforeseen legal and financing constraints, Pivotal Corporation has shut down and has been dissolved per Washington State Law RCW 23B.14. We apologize for any inconvenience and disappointment. "I would like a refund from Amazon however they do not accept itWearing thing is Amazon is still selling it.....

sync'd perfectly & it's working for her perfectly - no issues ....
Another outstanding product from Pivotal - bought this as a gift for one of the nice folks in our bible study group - she has a Samsung 4s - worked perfectly - she did have to reboot her phone initially - as she NEVER turns her phone off & of course - there was something goofy with the Bluetooth the first time - post reboot - sync'd perfectly & it's working for her perfectly - no issues ....

Scale is great but support sucks.
5 stars for the scale, 0 stars for their support.I have a problem with the app replacing the scale's recorded weight with yesterday's weight - which is really the weight from the day before, which is really the weight from the day before that, etc., etc. There is no way in the app or their website to tell them I'm having a problem that's not covered by the FAQs, the troubleshooting tips, or the user manuals. So I can't get help, and I am screwed.

sometime crash happy app, and 3+ months of being back ordered ...
Really decent scale. It has flaked out a couple times and switched to "Stones". The website isn't all that helpful. It is real close to a 5-Star review, but the random glitches, sometime crash happy app, and 3+ months of being back ordered on the compatible fitness band, make it less.

So much effort designing a bad scale. Look elsewhere.
This scale is replacing another scale I had that one of my pets peed on and ruined. The old scale had repeatable results measuring Body fat, Water weight, Bone mass, Body mass index, and of course weight. I got it for like $20 or 30 at target and worked great. The Pivotal Living scale on the other hand is cumbersome to use at best. I was interested in this scale so I could keep track of weight over time via the phone app.Major Complaints:1. With an iPhone 5s this thing takes two to three tries to connect to the bluetooth of the phone EVERY SINGLE TIME. I've tried every combination of turning on the scale first, selecting the scale on the phone then turning it one etc, nothing works first time.2. Tracking your weight on this thing is useless. This thing doesn't track you by each time you weigh yourself but instead by every day in the week. If you don't weigh yourself for a week then it gives you weight statistics based on empty values. Confused? Just trust me, it's worthless for any meaningful tracking. You're better off writing down the numbers and the date on a note pad and graphing it by hand. It would even be quicker with all the time spent fumbling around connecting and navigating the app.3. Inaccurate body fat measurements. I have an actual body fat, measured manually and with my old scale, of between 5-6% but this scale reads me at 12.8%, over double.4. Less measurements. This scale only retains 3 of the 5 measurements my old scale did, only two if you don't count the one that isn't accurate.5. Weight measurement isn't accurate to the decimal as advertised. I took this test to the next level. I weighed myself in at 119.2 lbs. Went pee measuring 16 fluid ounces or approximately 1 pound worth of weight lost. Weighed myself again and still 119.2 lbs. Waited 10 minutes and weighed a third time, 118.8, a different number but still half a pound too high. I of course make sure it's zeroed every time.I really wish I had more good to say about this scale but there really isn't much at this point. If you want a scale that gives you a semi accurate weight and nothing else then one can easily be found at any store and probably even on amazon for less than a third the price.

Was great while the company lasted...
Pivotal Living has gone out of business so their app no longer works. Without the app, there's no way to sync to the scale. Without being able to sync, the scale doesn't have the information to measure body composition.So pretty much it's just a digital scale that promised to be much more. At least it was relatively cheap.
