Could we use this to help our dog (and us) get in and out of our camper? The camper door is 36" off the ground. Thank you.

You probably could, but it might be a bit awkward. The platform sits 19.5 inches off the ground so the you would still have two high steps. Coupled with the relatively narrow 12" wide platform, it might be prone to tipping unless it's on a solid level surface. Maybe something like a "folding double step stool"

How many pounds does it hold. Would it hold an electric log splitter that weighs approximately 130 lbs.?

I'm 220 lbs and it holds me just fine . However if your going to put logs in the splitter how much will they weigh and with the 130lbs of the splitter and will the weight be centered or unstable . Too many variables to say . My own guess would be this isn't suitable for that type of application
