Started leaking
A few months after installation the valve has started leaking. Now I'm going to have to drain down the entire system anyway to effect a repair, which negates the whole reason for installing the valve in the first place! What a waste of time and money!

Can get you out of draining down hot water system
Product is quality and a clever design, but if you are not that experienced at DIY then start with the 15mm kit which is easier to fit. When fitting the 22mm make sure you have a good adjustable wrench and enough room to fit because it doesn`t matter how good your battery powered drill is you will need the wrench to get the cutting plunger to fully seat. Apart from that this is clever and useful way to install a shut off valve and saves having to drain down systems.
