Great Product, don't believe the few negative reviews
This EZred battery hydrometer is well made and easy to use. It does not leak as some negative reviewers stated and if used properly provides accurate specific gravity, and thus level of charge, readings for liquid-filled lead-acid batteries. If this product doesn't work for you, then you most likely have no business touching a battery in the first place. If however, you somehow received a broken or defective product, give the supplier a negative review and not the product.

Initially I concluded it was not consistent BUT now
I initially wrote this:'Easy to use but the results are not consistent. If I take three readings from the same cell they will all be different.'BUT MY ENGINEER TELLS ME THAT IF YOU TAKE MULTIPLE READINGS QUICKLY FROM THE SAME CELL YOU GET DIFFERENT RESULTS. SO MAYBE IT IS OKAY.

Very easy to read
Unlike a lot of other battery acid gauges, this is the easiest to read with its unique dial.
