Desert Fox Single Speed Panning Machine

I always wanted one now that I have it i can't stop playing . Once this weather gets warmer I will be out getting my dirt and using it like ots going out of style. LoL

My husband works on his own gold claim as a hobby with our kids, we bought this to make panning easier. The first one they sent us was used, dinged up and missing pieces. I had to go through the return process which was simple and easy it just sucked we had to return it. The second one was definitely new, not used. It filters down to the black sand very well and makes it so much easier to find all the flakes. The pay dirt they send you doesnt have hardly any black sand in it and no flakes of gold. Do I think it's worth the $400 price tag, no, no I do not. But does it work, yes, yes it does.

Great compact setup. We're still playing around with the angle and speed of the water to catch only gold. At this time we're still catching rocks and sand, but we're close! Gonna be a great addition to our hobby.

I like the unit it self works nicely with the exception of the spiritual wheel. I sent desert fox an email. But no response at all. The wheel has deep pits in it causing the separation of black sand and fine gold not to separate. No matter what I did it would not change. The black sand would get stuck in the pits and create a blockage of any material to go up the wheel. And not just 1 or 2 pits 100s. Way to go desert fox. Way to handle a business with bad customer service. Update they finally got back to me after several calls and emails. They requested multiple pictures of the pits and defects in the spiral wheel so I sent them as requested. Their response was not going to replace it or repair it. TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY!
