Does exactly what it says if a little oversized for my needs but still easy to install, the adhesive on the velcro doesn't feel great but time will tell. The quality feels excellent and seals really well aswell as looking good when installed.

Ok for my portable air conditioner as the window kit I got with it doesn’t fit my window. Fitted ok but was a bit too big for my window but I made it fit and my air conditioner is keeping the house lovely and cool.

Easy to put up and does the job well. Fits nicely around the window (even though the window size was a bit awkwrd) and keeps the hot air from the AC hose coming back in. Made a big difference to keeping the room cool. Very happy with it.

We live in a 3-bed semi-detached property, and upstairs gets absolutely baking during hot weather. I put this Homcom unit upstairs in an 8x8 meter room, and it has been a total blessing. It cools the main room down incredibly quickly, but it’s so powerful that it actually helps cool down the other rooms upstairs as well! It has been an absolute lifesaver recently while we've been decorating, painting walls, and stripping floors—it kept us perfectly comfortable the whole time. To make it work with my outward-opening window, I also bought the MOEGFY AC Window Seal (Universal 400cm kit for £15.99). It works perfectly and completely stops the hot air from the exhaust pipe from sneaking back inside. I have attached photos and a video showing the machine running on the different modes—including Dehumidifier (df), Fan, and Air Conditioner settings—so you can hear exactly how loud the unit gets on each level. Like any powerful A/C, there is some noise, but for how fast and effectively it clears the heat, it is 100% worth it. I have to be honest, this window seal for the air conditioning unit was very disappointing. On paper it seemed like a good idea, and after carefully measuring and ordering the correct size, it did technically fit. However, in practice it caused more frustration than it solved. The main issue is usability. Closing the window between uses is awkward, as you have to tuck all of the inner sheeting back inside before you can shut it. Even worse, keeping the vent hose securely in place is a constant battle. The design relies on two zips that you’re meant to fasten around the hose, with a cable tie provided to hold the top and bottom zips together. In reality, this means cutting and replacing cable ties every time you want to open or close the window which is simply impractical. It also doesn’t seal properly. Warm air still seeps through, and on several occasions we came back to find the vent had slipped out entirely, blowing air around the room. Considering what you get, essentially some adhesive tape and a thin piece of fabric, the price feels very high. After a frustrating week, we gave up and installed a proper wall vent instead, which has been far more efficient and hassle-free. In my view, this product is not worth the money and is better avoided if you want a reliable long-term solution.

This is so much better than leaving the window open and letting hot air in while trying to cool a room! Make sure and measure properly to get the best, tightest fit.

It's all a bit Blue Peter trying to get this to fit the window. You end up with a gap where the exhaust pipe goes through the zipper and a hole where the two ends meet. It does however allow the air conditioner to cool the room, which is what I bought it for. Not the most efficient of systems, surprised no one on Dragons Den has come up with anything better.

Très bon produit, facile à installer et s’adapte bien à la fenêtre. Il empêche efficacement l’air chaud de rentrer lorsque la climatisation est en marche. La qualité est bonne et le rapport qualité-prix est excellent. Je recommande !

Doet wat het moet doen! Eenvoudige installatie, goede prijs-kwaliteit verhouding. Ik heb zelf best lang onderzoek gedaan naar een goede raamafdichting - deze is in ieder geval prima.
