I love it, fits well and exactly what I needed

Not bad could been a bit longer and the arm rest could been a bit bigger but very convenient pretect the soffa.

I waited several months before reviewing so I'd have an accurate idea of how much I like these covers. They do a good job in keeping dog hair and dirty paws off of my couches. However, in my opinion, they are a pain to put on and keep in place. I dread the days when I have to take them off to wash them because I know how much I hate the process of putting them back on. When putting them on as recommended by the manufacturer, they did not stay on well at all. I'd like to blame it all on the dogs but, even from the humans just sitting on them, they would come untucked and have to be straightened any time they were used. I have a similar cover in my car and that one has straps with plastic 'pipes' that you shove down into the crevice between the seat and the seat back so it stays tucked in. So we used that theory and got some pvc for all of the places where the covers need to be tucked in (seat/seat back and seat/arms). That does help a lot but I'm now I'm frequently pushing the pvc down because it'll start working itself out and become visible. Also, the arm flaps aren't long enough to hang down on the outside of the couch and those usually end up bunched under the dog so the arms of the couch still get drooled on. I understand that they can't make a style that will fit every couch and our couches are pretty large with arms much wider than those in the photo. I'm giving it 3 stars for me but that doesn't mean it won't work for you, if you have a smaller couch and maybe smaller dogs that are a bit more delicate when jumping on a couch. UPDATE: A representative from Hills Point Industries replied to my review and requested that I contact them about my fit issues with the Sofa Shields. I explained that I wasn't expecting any compensation when I wrote the review...I just wanted to let others with non-standard sofas that they might not have a perfect fit. The rep seemed very concerned that I wasn't happy with the fit and went above and beyond to rectify the situation, even though it's been 5 months since we purchased them. She sent us the extra wide covers to see if they will fit better. I'll update my review again, after we test them out for a while. In a time when a lot of companies don't want to hear from you after the sale, it's nice to come across one that still practices great customer service!

First things first: this is not a fancy sofa cover. In fact, it feels and looks somewhat cheap. Nonetheless, it is efficient -- it accomplishes its main job of protecting your couch. We have been using it for the past 2 months ever since we started boarding dogs in our home. We thought we needed some sort of protection since we would be having dogs over constantly. And for that, the cover has been excellent. It has protected our couch from multiple zoomies and claws. However, we do have 3 issues with this couch cover: 1. It has a strap so you can tie the upper part of the cover to the back of the couch. To us, this is utterly useless. The upper cover is very long and thus falls to the back of our couch quite a lot. We have no need to strap it. 2. There's a strap for the top part, but none for the lower part -- and that's the part that's rather short in our couch and constantly goes up. For us, it would be much more useful if there was a strap to tie the lower section of cover to the couch, so that it doesn't go up. Often, dogs will dig the cover, and it will slide up, because we just can't tie it down. 3. Finally, it is short for our couch. I do realise this is not necessarily the product's fault, but it is something that bothers us. Perhaps the manufacturer could offer extra wide covers, instead of this standard length. Thus, we're constantly having to adjust the cover, either pulling it more to the left or to the right. Overall, it is a functional product. Could be prettier. Could be a wee bit better. Giving it 4/5.
