Ok for DIY
Used this for a DIY job and it worked ok. Not sure how long it will last. The wire cutter worked very well until it broke after ~5 jobs.

Great combo
The big punch down works great for cat5e if you are doing cat6a with shielding the small punch (yellow one) is more useful to make sure every connection is fully down.

Useful bit of kit
Never used one before but this really made wiring up an internet socket much easier. Look online and follow the simple instructions. All the wires are in pairs and this tool allows you to ensure they are inserted correctly AND trimmed at the same time! 👍

Does the job
I bought it to make only two sockets, and it worked as expected. It is useful only if you use it once in a while. For professional use or several sockets, it will be a problem due to low quality.

Pleased as punch !
Great value little tool , bought this to replace one that I lost . This one was quite a bit cheaper than my original one but pretty much identical. It works well making good connections and cut off the excess

essential if making data sockets for home network
Recently upgraded to fibre broadband but wifi signal around house was poor so we decided to wire in switched and add wireless access points and data sockets around the house. This tool is very useful for punching the lan cable into the data sockets . I only used a couple of times - and I made a few errors - fud when testing - but this tool has a hook so you can remove any wires which are incorrect and thhen punch down in the correct position
