Authentic Russian Army Ushanka Winter Hat-60, with Imperial Eagle Insignia Gray/Blue

Got my ushanka in today, it's a little small but they actually include instructions on how to stretch it some so I'll have to try that. The quality is by far the best of any ushanka I've bought, it's definitely pretty thick and will keep you warm. Another downside is my hat didn't come with the hammer and sickle pin but it's no biggy.

So, my wife said I needed to get a winter/cold weather hat. I hate hats. But sometimes it is pretty damn cold. Since my wife is of recent Russian extraction, I picked this up as a sort of humorous solution to her insistence.It comes with either an old Soviet emblem or newer Russian Federation emblem for the front. I tossed that into a drawer and put on my old US Army Infantry cap device instead (I'm an American, dammnit - I ain't gonna wear any of that commie stuff. I have standards.).One thing for sure - this cap is very warm, and with the flaps down you just might survive all that snow that needs shoveling. Make sure to pay attention to the size/fitting instructions - don't guess, MEASURE. And yes, my wife laughed. But I did as asked according to her plan, so nothing else she could say. And Russians don't take a dump without a plan. Comrade.

Beautiful hat! Great seller with fast service! What more could you want. My head was right on the line from needing a 58-60 so I ordered a 60 and it is a perfect fit. I love the color of blue that it is and the pile fabric is really nice. It has a cool history even though it is a new un-worn hat, just the fact that it is a usable cold-war relic appeals to me.
