Beard HeadBarbarian Dwarf Warrior - Original Handmade Knit Helmet and Removable Beard

Bought this for my boss at his retirement as a joke. Always called him Gimli due to his... Stature. He still wears it when riding his motorcycle in the fall and spring to keep his head warm. Holds up to highway riding for almost 2 years now.

Pretty much exactly like the picture of the item. I call it my "Gimli Hat" of course no its not that original but it is surprisingly comfortable. The Beard is yarn (as is the hat) so not hugely warm but if you have a hood it works just fine with it too. The yarn does catch on velcro very easy but that is not the fault of the maker, nor would i steer away from the hat for that reason.I had my wife sew the little "nose bar" up as the hat is too tight to my head to be exactly like in the picture for the beard to work right for me.I live in Alaska and have worn it outside during some of the current winter and it does a good job of keeping my face warm and moderate on the head. In rain/show I put up my hood for the top and good to go.All in all, good birthday present and I actually do wear it, so its fun and funny as well. Confused the heck out of my 15 month old daughter as well at first. She knew it was me but gave me a bit of a "hmmm you're looking odd" kind of look at first.

This beanie is so snug and comfortable! Everything sit’s where it’s supposed to and is adjustable. VERY pleased with the quality!

I can't say how awesome this helmet and beard actually is. The construction is better than I expected, and I was delighted to see that the inside of the beard is lined with comfortable fleece material that keeps it from being scratchy. It is light to wear, warm and fits excellently due to the potential for adjusting the height of the beard, which can be removed if wanted. This was a purchase made in anticipation of attending a sneak preview of a certain relevant movie coming out next week, and I am excited to stand in line wearing my war bonnet and beard.If you are on the fence about this purchase, go for it! Too much fun for one hat, and I get compliments and (generally positive) attention every time I leave the house with it over my face.

I can not properly express the amount of fun that I have had in the last 24 hours Wearing this hat ranging from keeping my head warm while working in the freezers up to embarrassing my two kids as I get off the bus from school to embarrassing them as I drop them off in the morning for school I love this hat and I am so glad that I have found it because it keeps my head warm and it’s also a lot of fun thank you

I ordered this for my boyfriend's birthday. The ship date said that is would come sometime between Oct. 16 and Oct. 21th. My boyfriend's birthday was on the 20th and it arrived on the 21st. I would have liked to have had a better idea of the exact arrival date or options for express shipping (which I could not find when I purchased this). The quality of the hat was great, the beard fit nicely ( even over his beard) and having it detachable means he can rock his helmet any time. The size was a little small, but he has a big head so I was expecting that. All in all it is a quality product that I recommend for any fantasy loving person.

We purchased a beard beanie for my daughter’s Lord of the Rings party (dwarves) as well as a Gandalf hat for the kids to wear. The kids had a blast with this beard (and so did the adults)! The beard and beanie combo are of excellent quality and easily withstood a lot of pulling and tugging that kids do when overly excited and hyped up on sugar. The photos of the kids wearing the beard beanie were particularly hilarious! My husband is contemplating wearing the beard beanie to football games as it does a terrific job of keeping your head and face warm. Two big thumbs up!
