Too Difficult!
No way... this book/audio is for advanced player! Don't get me wrong the content and quality is great. However, this not for a beginner/intermediate as you have to already be able to play at certain level.

Meh...
Save your money, speed mechanics is infinitely more informative and beneficial. This is marketed as a "play like your favorite guitar player" but the licks are pretty uninspiring, the information generic, and format is dry. The fingerings are kind of odd to me but that is a personal matter, Greg himself is an awesome player but this book just seems ok but not great.

Good Shredding crash course
This book covers the basics of Shred guitar, as well as some advanced concepts.Covers scales, arpeggios, extended arpeggios, tapping, hybrid picking, string skipping, and then some...Pros:This book has good extended arpeggio linesA lot of good sounding licksGood descriptions of techniqueCool etudes at the end of every chapter to show how the techniques can be implemented musicallyCons:Advanced players might only find a few things worthwhile, but I would say it is still worthwhileA lot of big stretches!
