Ginger Booth's Thrive Series Keeps on Being a Wonderful Read
I was quite anticipating the publication of this volume, given that book 6 left matters in a state of uncertainty unlike the ends of others. I should note that I have read the entire series, and am actually in the middle of this volume at the moment, so my observations should really be considered as applying to the entire series before this one, as well as the part of this one I have read. I know, that's a strange way to come at a review of a volume, but I haven't had the time to review each of the Thrive Space Colony Adventures, as I read them.Considering the series as a whole, I have been engaged in each volume to the degree that I couldn't wait to get the next, and see where things would go next. While there have been some intentional breaks in subseries, one of the things I must say is that I never lose interest in where Gingers main characters will go next. In fact, I'd say that one of Ginger's great talents, and I say this based on having read the Calm series, as well, is to create and develop characters that the reader comes to care about, and wonder actively how a given challenge will be addressed by its participating characters. That isn't to say she can't make a fine story arc, with events artfully crafted so as to keep its momentum going, but she does that at the same time she shows the continuing development of relationships between the characters one comes to care about. There are lots of authors who do action science fiction, and who can drive a good story arc, but I have not read any who as deftly weave in the development of relationships between well-fleshed-out characters in just the way Ginger can. I'm pleased she chose to launch the Thrive series, and I hope she can keep it going indefinitely. I'll keep on reading them as soon as they are published.

True space adventure with techno wizards
Welcome to a space adventure! Prosper & Thrive will make you take a hold of your seat and make sure you don't fall off because this ride is hard and fast and there is so much to see.The crew of Thrive have grown and matured but their taste for adventure remains. They want to find the humans that still remain and make connections to them, and some of them really want to make profit with those connections. On this ride we get a new look to Denali, which has only grown fiercer and more dangerous, and then we're off to Cantons, with the new star drive. The Cantons is a real quirky place, inhabited by former Europeans who have formed a truly unique ecosystem of different cultures. They are a real delight, who doesn't love techno wizards? Hopefully we will get to know them a bit more in the future.Definitely recomend this read for all of you!

Wow...action and new weird world
The action really seems to jump up in this one. (Poor Socks).. I love the visit to a new world and their weird customers and issues. Love this series. I can't wait to see the other new worlds they can now reach with the new warp. But I really hope they go check on Earth at some point. I got to read an early ARC version, but the final version is even better. I love all of Ginger's stories. I am amazed at the stories and characters she comes up with.

Intense and Fun
This volume in the Ginger’s Thrive universe is a really entertaining story. In it the reader is taken to a different world in this wonderful SiFi series. Ginger is fantastic in building characters and worlds and here she seemed to have a lot of fun. Her detail and imagination have made this book one of my favorites. It is also full of wit and humor. All of the standard characters in the series get interesting story time along with typical teenage antics by Nico. I am thrilled to have brought Ginger’s stories into my universe.

Okay
This book started out interesting but didn't grab me as much as previous ones, perhaps because the many citystates of the cantons are rather confusing, and the cast of characters is split between three ships and several landing parties having entirely different experiences.

Starts With A Bang And Doesn't Slow Down
Prosper and Thrive starts off with a bang and doesn't slow down. Ginger continues to amaze me with her inventiveness. She shows us yet more ways that human society can warp itself as the augmented Thrive crew revisits Denali and then travels to Cantons. Cantons being a world that seems to be populated by citizens reenacting various periods of Earth history. This book is a great addition to the series and demonstrates again why Ginger is one of my favorite authors.

Starts wild and dangerous, then it gets seriously tough.
Sass and Clay are back with their old gang, 3 ships, and a mission.Show the envoys from Sanctuary the local planets and then transport the whole lot to their chosen place. Except Mahina only wants labour or brains, and Denali, well, not even Denali wants Denali and nobody knows what Canton is like, except it seems to have regressed to old European city-states. Add in rogue, or maybe lonely, AIs and it all adds up to non-stop roller coaster exciting ride, so fast it's hard to keep up sometimes, but then Kassidy is around to capture it all on video.Ginger's Thrive series gets more exciting with each new story, and this one has so much.

Four and a half stars of greatness!
This series rocks! The crews of Thrive and Prosper go on another great adventure together! First- a return to Sanctuary and unfortunately another battle with a powerful AI. Second- a voyage to a new colony of earth refugees, Canton. Sanctuary is failing and it’s inhabitants want to find a new home so they sEek out Canton after checking the prospects of Mahina. Canton although founded in the late 21st century is largely medieval in lifestyle mixing technology with magic, infused with paranoia.

Best world yet!
On the hunt for a world where the Sanctuary colony can settle, the crews of (now) 3 ships head to a bizarre world, ruled by 'wizards' and not at all receptive to visitors. A renegade AI, the younger generation, past trauma and bunnies! all provide obstacles and distractions to the mission. A must read!
