This is not a normal book, per se, it's just a collection of articles written from the 1930's to about 2000. I was only interested in antennas for the 2 meter band. There's only about five short articles about those. The articles that I've read leave out very important details that the beginner needs to know. Are the director elements insulated from the mast? Are they split in two, left and right, or does it go all the way across? How do you measure the impedence of the driven element and match it to the transceiver?I don't recommend it for beginners like myself and I wish I'd put the money toward a factory made antenna.
