I can't believe I am on here actually posting a positive review for a phone screen protector! I usually hate having to apply them to my phone, as they're difficult to install properly, usually end up with bubbles underneath, no matter how well you clean and prepare the screen and often don't adhere properly right to the edges of a curved screen. But here I am, posting a positive review! This has been the most hassle-free screen protector I've fitted to any phone. Took a few minutes to figure out the instructions and the 'apply from the centre' technique, but slap me with bread and call me a sandwich, it worked... No bubbles, completely aligned (thanks to the handy alignment tool which slots into the USB port at the bottom of the phone) and a finished screen that doesn't have my usual result of resembling the texture of a long-distance runner's foot! I actually let out a little whoop of joy when I took the outer layer off the new protector after installing (which is usually the moment I end up ripping the failed attempt off and cursing loudly... occasionally weeping quietly... and vowing to never damage my existing screen protector again to avoid the humiliation and soul-diminishing experience of having to go through this adhesive-based circus-of-misery ever again). Needless to say, would heartily recommend and would purchase again, if I'm cack-handed enough to wreck this screen protector before the phone itself needs replacing.

Ok so 10 minutes in and this seems to be a premium product. The end result is flawless, almost like having no protector on at all. The touch experience is smooth, the only problem is the on-screen fingerprint detection which takes longer to register now. Certainly for unlocking, you have to keep your finger on the screen for a good 2 seconds whereas without it was instant. Providing bio info for apps seems better though. It's only a minor niggle. The provided instructions were clear and the kit easy to use. The provided frame guide for my OnePlus 8T was slightly too small and kept popping off but that was no problem, I only had to hold it down until I dropped the protector in place. Now for the bubbles. Like others have said you do end up with bubbles or patches that need rubbing clean and the only way seems to be to use the corner of a credit card wrapped in the polishing cloth and rubbing really hard. I ended up bending the corner of my card in the end I was putting so much pressure on but you really do need to disperse the bubbles or patches underneath until they fade away. 5 minutes elbow grease though and result is amazing. Happy so far and I have a spare just in case. There is an additional protector for the camera glass on the back too and also provided is a neat carbon fibre effect film for the entire back. I'm not sure how long this will last because it does wrap up the edges a little bit but it does afford additional protection and means you don't need a case. We'll see how long it lasts but it's good for now. (Edit. 4 days. It's too flimsy and the corners lifted. No real loss)

I've never installed a protector like this before, and the associated plastic bit that holds the protector steady is a very nice touch. The quality of the packaging, and accessories are second to none, I was really impressed with the necessary cleaning and smoothing bits too. There were a few bubbles on one half of the protector, but that was entirely my fault as I spotted a particle and tried to get rid of it. Those bubbles all went within a few hours as the phone was warm and being used. The carbon fibre lookalike protector for the rear adds protection and also looks much better than you'd think. The caerna protector is another added bonus. Comparing this to the absolutely awful tempered glass protector I bought this to replace, is like comparing apples and a kick in the face. I don't rate the protection this will give me above a glass protector, but it seems until phone manufacturers decide that curved screens are unnecessary, and easily damaged, we will have to make compromises. This will protect from scratches, but I doubt it'll help in a drop. If this has helped you, give me a thumbs up please. UPDATE: I dropped my phone off the sofa arm, and it hit a plug, gashing the protector. It was a fall of less than 2 feet, no sharp edges hit, but the protector was ruined and had to be removed. So it might have saved my phone a scratch, but I'm disappointed with the resilience of it. My glas protectors have withstood so much more abuse. They're better value in my opinion.

After I wasted so much money and time for the perfect screen protector that ticked all the boxes and seemed like a big waste of time...and it was a big waste of Time had I not have stumbled up this screen protector. No other one can compare to this. I bought this for my oneplus 8 pro as it has curved edges and an imbedded finger print reader as other protector's would either not let you use the finger print reader correctly and it would not sit properly on the edges...I'm sure we all had the same problem. This protector does it all. It is very easy to apply as it comes with a kit to secure the protector to the phone as you apply it without movement and it's put square on the face of your phone. That easy. Not only that there is a link to watch a video of how to apply it,and you get two protector's in the box with a skin for the back of your phone and.. yes and. .a small protector for my camera hump. Seriously,this is an amazing screen protector and worth every penny. I hope I explained this correctly because this protector is amazing value for money,let's the phone be a phone as it does not take away from the look of your phone except make it look even more slick as you won't even notice it when it's on. Don't look any further,this will be all you need. I bought one again for my son's phone and he was even impressed with it,and so will you. 100%.

This is a great idea on how to help easily install. A great kit, clear instructions, and accessories that actually help you align and reduce error. These are the pro's of this kit. For me, purchasing for my OnePlus 8 Pro, I have been let down by using both on the subsequent lifting from edges. The first time went well, I followed instructions and found the installation a breeze. Then about a day later I noticed some of the edges were coming up in the corners in particular and on the curved side. I repeatedly found myself smoothing them down but they reappear in minutes. First time, I blamed myself and said I must not have cleaned those areas well enough. Thankfully, they provide 2 sheets. So I tried a second time. This time, I paid extra attention to cleaning with the wipe those areas thoroughly, drying with the supplied sloth and using the sticky dust remover all over. I followed the procedure exactly as stated (and I would add, I am fairly au fait with these sorts of things in general). It worked well, I really slicked down the edges as well, and it seemed to be stuck down. Great. A day later, the edges start to come up once again, despite being extra careful. As such, for me there is so much potential, but the adhesive lets it down, at least in my experience.

This is a long review but this fantastic product has earned it. overall much MUCH easier to apply than you'd think. It also comes with a stylish back cover and handy back lens protector. Very satisfied. The back protector isn't quite as easy to line up as the front protector but is also more forgiving and can be reapplied a couple times to get it just right. Due to the Oneplus 8 pro now being an older model - previous complete protection cases are no longer being sold by the companies I was buying from. I NEEDED a screen protector. This process can be completed in as little as 10-15 minutes (read the instructions clearly and inspect all of the accessories before you start) but once I had done that it was a piece of cake. Do it in a room with good lighting on a clean surface where you can inspect the phone from all angles for dust BEFORE starting. This because the most important part is ensuring your screen is dust free prior to adhesion. The dust stickers they provide are the most useful part in my opinion and provide a very good method for getting those micro particles off prior to adhesion. The additional tools (squeegee and plug in line-up tool) are fantastic and really intuitive. No complaints whatsoever.

I have now had about 3 packs of these screen protectors. I will admit I messed the installation up of one and it ended up with bubbles every where but that was my fault. The kit comes with everything needed for a pain and bubble free installation and the fingerprint scanner works perfectly. This is not a glass screen protector though it's soft almost like a very thin rubber which helps it conform to the screen edges and fit has been spot on. Unfortunately having fitted the most recent screen protector due to putting a large nick in the fitted one I've had nothing but problems. It just will not stick and continues to keep peeling and bubbling at the edges to the point I've ripped it off now. I'd avoid as it seems the qudlity/fit has seriously declined on this product. A waste of money on my last purchase as it's lasted less than 24hrs.

I ordered this screen protector at the same time as the phone, not realising one was pre-installed already. I noticed a scratch on my shiney new phone's screen but then realised it had a cheap flimsy and thin film which peeled away nicely to a beautifully clear scratch-free screen! What a relief! I went a few weeks, screen protector free, before finally getting around to installing this screen protector and the carbon fibre skin for the back of the handset. Installation was... Kind of strange. The screen protector is actually 2 halves, but once it's on, you really can't tell it's 2 pieces. I mean, seriously, can't tell! Strange as it sounds! The film covers the entire glass panel. You can't see it's there and you can only just slightly feel it on the sides. But, only slightly. There's no cut out for the hole punch camera, but I'm really ok with that as it's giving the camera some protection and it's very clear anyway. Finger print reader works just as it did with no screen protector; absolutely no issues there whatsoever. My OnePlus 8 Pro is still super responsive! As for the protectors toughness; I wouldn't go throwing the phone against a wall or dropping it from a height, but it should certainly stand up to everyday use. As for the rear of the phone; I did end up putting the lens protector on the camera module, just to see it it was any good. It's nicely fitted and I haven't noticed any dip in image quality, so I'll be keeping it on there. Now for the added carbon fibre skin... I saw one review stating it was white and really ugly. However, that person obviously didn't realise the skin peels away from its "white" holder and is then fitted to the rear of the handset just as a screen protector is fitted. The carbon fibre skin is transparent! Not white! Not black! It's transparent and slightly textured so you can still show off that beautiful glacier green (in my case, anyway) colour! So, all in all, I'm really happy with this purchase. I very rarely leave reviews but actually wanted to with this. I'm still, right now ,trying to see and feel the line joining the 2 pieces of protector in the screen but can't! I'm really surprised! I managed to fit it first time around, even though I got a little lost halfway through (when I found it was 2 pieces). There is a spare protector, if you need, but follow the instructions and you'll be fine! I hope this helps people! Love my OnePlus!

Mon OnePlus 8 de mi-2020 est équipé d'origine d'un film protégeant l'écran et c'était une bonne chose car il a été touché par une dent de scie l'année dernière et il est tombé - vitre contre le sol bien entendu - en bricolant la semaine dernière. Il s'était aussi un peu décollé au-dessus du commutateur et du bouton à droite au fil du temps, aussi son aspect s'était détérioré et appelait un remplacement. J'ai donc cherché de quoi remplacer le film abîmé sur Amazon et ai porté mon choix sur ce modèle. La vidéo présente sur la page a été un élément de choix important pour illustrer la facilité de montage. Sans oublier la consultation des commentaires. A réception, j'ai d'abord mis un masque (merci le Covid qui a fait rentrer dans notre quotidien cet accessoire) afin d'éviter toute projection sur l'écran, et ai retiré facilement le film d'origine, mobile éteint pour mieux voir l'écran et éviter les lancements intempestifs d'applications. J'ai nettoyé du doigt - bien se laver les mains avant - la colle résiduelle de l'ancien film sur le pourtour, y compris autour de l'objectif pour les selfies. C'est important - et non indiqué dans la documentation - sinon au mieux le travail n'est pas soigné au pire les bords ne colleront pas correctement. Puis j'ai suivi la documentation de la vidéo et ai constaté que le positionnement du film était parfait, avec juste deux petites bulles près des bords latéraux, faciles à chasser avec l'accessoire fourni. Après avoir rallumé le mobile, je n'ai constaté aucun problème avec le capteur d'empreintes ou la sensibilité de l'écran. J'ai même l'impression qu'il est moins sensible aux traces de doigts. Rien à signaler depuis et bien entendu c'est à confirmer dans le temps. Si le film tient deux ans (quatre avec le second film), je conclurai que c'était un excellent choix. NB: Je n'ai pas utilisé le film protecteur des objectifs ni la protection de coque car je n'en avais pas besoin aussi je ne ferai pas de commentaire sur eux.

Wow. I was delighted to stumble across a video showing the application process of this TPU screen protector. So I came to Amazon to see if it was sold here and found it and ordered it. I received this SP several days ago but have put off installing it until today because I hate installing SPs and the lousy job I did installing the factory supplied SPs that came (uninstalled) on my OnePlus 8 Pro further discouraged me. I had so many bubbles I couldn't tell which ones had debris under them and which were just air bubbles. Over the course of 2 weeks, all the bubbles gradually disappeared except for 2 that had debris under them. And then one side on the curved edge didn't adhere very well either and was continually bugging me. For whatever reason, I decided today was the day to install this TPU SP and replace the lousy job I did on the OEM SPs. I figured if this new TPU SP didn't work out, I might just have to go without and hope that my OCD would allow an unprotected screen. Using the USB port for a home base for alignment is genius. I cranked up the shower on hot to minimize dust particles, followed the included instructions, and this SP went on perfectly, no bubbles, no misalignment, just perfect. I am delighted with this and can't recommend it enough. I'd give it 6 stars if I could. I only hope it holds up for a long time (but fortunately 2 came in the box). My 3.5 year old OnePlus 3 came with a factory applied SP and it remains on that phone to this day. Sure, it's scratched up some and isn't perfect, but it hasn't curled, no bubbles, and has protected the OP3 screen (encased in a Spigen Rugged Armor case) for over 3 years without issue. I call that value right there. For $10, you cannot go wrong with this TPU SP unless simply must have a TGSP. And from what I've read, those then to only adhere on the edges and leave a slight gap over the screen itself. I don't know if that's a universal issue or was just specific to the feedback I read on one TGSP. Regardless, this TPU SP and the application system it uses is the best I've seen.. especially if you have shaky hands and have trouble with alignments generally speaking. Search out the YT video on this and watch it. Seeing it being applied was helpful to me.
