Sturdy & versatile.
I just got these and so far the wrench looks like a good one. I have two different makes of valves on my RV discharge. This works well for loosening caps and tightening hoses.

Good for RV sewer line
This works well for the cap and sewer line on our travel trailer. Cant quite get it locked in by hand and really don't want to get in there and crank right up next to the poo pipe. This is easy on and off. Very handy. Quality is ok, but I just use it infrequently so its fine.

Ease of use.
Very easy to use. I have arthritis all over! Not a lot of strength in my hands. These work good. The only problem I see is the plastic covers on the jaws were cut through to the metal teath after one use.

Cheap quality, but exactly what I needed for my RV's dump station
This is theoretically an oil filter wrench. For that purpose, I think it would be marginal--the rubbery gripping material would likely slip on the average slippery oil filter--and that would explain its low ratings by another. It's pretty cheaply made--not a precision tool by any means--that's the reason I give it only 4 stars, and I suspect part of the reasons that another rated it lower. Few mechanics would be proud to include it in their tool boxes. But in its widest open position, it nicely fits the female sewer dump connection on any RV, giving better leverage to remove the cap, attach the hose, and remove the hose after dumping. The rubbery gripping material grabs the plastic connectors perfectly without damaging the plastic. Marketed for that purpose, I think it would soon take over that niche market--it's much better than any of the other wrenches in that market, and it's already competitively priced.

Git a Grip !! Solves multiple problems
I use it to separate sections of my Stihl blower tubes, RV sewer hose connections, and remove tight gas cap on my Honda generator. Filters on Bobcat Skid loader. I expect that removing jar lids would be another use.

Great for connecting hose to RV dump valve
I have tiny hands, and tightening and removing the hose from my camper's dump valve can be almost impossible for me, especially in cold weather. These pliers are the perfect size. They are metal, heavy, and more than I need for this basic task, but they do the job well, so I am happy.

Use on RV sewer hose.
Works great for extra leverage on sewer hose connections. Has to be oriented just right to work. But I think this is a function of hose connector design and not of these pliers. Earned a spot in my toolbox.

RV Sewer Cap beast
Like many others have said, this tool may not be great for oil filters, but it is perfect for sewer fittings on RVs! I have Valterra caps on my waste tanks and they can be quite difficult to remove some days. The last thing you want to be doing while dumping your septic is struggling to even get the process started. These pliers fit beautifully on the covers to get the caps loosened and moving. I have also used them to sperate pieces on my hose as well.
