Hidden strap holder helps
The media could not be loaded. Overall, it’s doing a great job of limiting motion at the MCP joint of my index finger. It’s not perfect, but once I adjusted it a bit more it is working and relatively comfortable. As other reviews mentioned, this isn’t the best or most stable splint, and can slip side to side a bit in your palm. that’s less of a problem if you are splinting the whole finger. I only wanted to splint the MCP joint, where my index finger connects to the palm of my hand, and that’s a bit less stable in terms of splint positioning.I found a few ways to stabilize this brace that aren’t obvious in the instructions or tiny diagrams:Hidden feature: the brand label peels up and has Velcro underneath. That secures the wrapped strap so it can’t slide around. It also works better if you curve the wider end of the splint around the base of the finger and place the narrow end in the palm. (That's the opposite of what I assumed.) It keeps the splint aligned and hugs my finger much better.I ordered this splint because it would arrive sooner and was inexpensive. I was getting so annoyed with kinesthesia tape (especially the sticky residue it leaves on the skin), buddy taping my fingers, and the difficulty in washing my hands without re-taping! the removable splint is much easier, especially once you get it adjusted right. It just takes a little more patience.

Too small
Not useful for me at all. The hand strap is too short to go around my hand. The finger strap is also too short for my finger and it's very scratchy. It would be extremely uncomfortable to wear for more than few minutes. I will be returning it. Another issue is that the finger strap is not attached to the splint, which makes it difficult to put on and it would likely not stay put.

Didn’t work
This brace didn’t stay on for the night. I found it in my bed under the pillow. The strap is too stretchy to keep it secure. Good idea though.

Works like it is advertised for a temporary solution.
I have suffered with trigger fingers for decades. I have had 3 surgeries which worked. Multiple steroid injections (max is 2/digit) About half the injections worked. I decided to try a brace or nonsurgical, non medical approach for the first time, before getting the 2nd shot in that finger This was one of a couple of types my hand surgeon recommended to temporize. This was first one I tried. It works by keeping your finger unlocked while you sleep. Expect about an hour of typical (un)locking finger pain in the morning after removing the splint as you get your finger movement back to normal. I like it because you only wear it while you sleep and it is very comfortable. I used it as I had to wear a different type of finger splint on the opposite hand for a mallet finger and didn’t want to have a finger on each hand out of commission at the same time. After the mallet finger was stabilized, I got the second steroid injection which works far better than the splint. If that finger starts relocking, then I’ll let the hand surgeon cut on it.

Too wide for comfort
The construction of this is odd. The bottom that your finger rests on is too wide for the finger. Your other fingers almost need to rest on the base which makes it very uncomfortable to wear. It’s unfortunate because it’s made well other than that.
