If like me you like to revamp your waterproof clothing every few months, but loath spending money on overpriced Nikwax Techwash, then this is for you. And while I’ll still fork out for Nikwax Wash In Direct to reproof my garments, this liquid soap is perfectly adequate for the all important prep wash and will save you money.I also use this as a much cheaper alternative to Muc-Off for cleaning my bicycles and motorbike. Just pour an inch into your used Muc-Off bottle, fill the rest with cold water and you’re good to go. And because this is pure soap, it cleans without stripping the bikes of their lubricants.Nowhere near as bubbly as soap flakes - which can turn your washing machine into a big rabid, foamy monster – yet still does the job.

I read the reviews prior to purchase however as already a fan of Dri-pak products (citric acid, bicarb, soda crystals) I decided it was worth buying. Used last night on some hand wash items and it was great, cleaned them nicely, no leaching, nice smell once dried and no drying out my hands. This will become a staple in my home for handwashing going forward.

Does the job washing wise, very good, but as a hand wash a bit disappointed, a little too drying, perhaps Iwill get used to it.

As described, easy to use and more convenient than soap flakes.

I use this for wool washes in the washing machine mainly. It just smells of soap and nothing else. It is quite thick so I tend to just dissolve it a little and pour it into the machine before starting. Leaves clothes fresh smelling and soft.

Trying to be more eco-friendle & so have given up ordinary wash powder. Have re-ordered the pure soap, so far so good.
