Perfect Solution to Get a Dish Off of the Roof
Had to move a DirecTV dish off of the flat roof of a small condo complex. Building is getting a new roof and they want nothing directly on the new roof surface. Anyway, this mount was the perfect solution. DirecTV guy installed it for me when moving the dish. Mounted to a large 4 inch beam under the eaves. Solid and sturdy. Yes it has some weight to it but you want that. It's not so heavy that you can't at least hold it up for measuring and installation. You will need 1) Hardware to install. No hardware included but, to be fair, every installation will be different so there's really no way for anyone else to determine what hardware you need. Also, 2) If you're installing a DirecTV dish, you will need this adapter. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B009P54Z6G?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title. With mount and adapter, easy, peasy. Entire installation took about 45 minutes for someone who knew what they were doing.

Great Outdoor Antenna Mount
I mounted this device myself on my home. I subsequently mounted a tv antenna on it. Everything turned out perfect. I could not find an antenna that had a suitable mount that came with it. This mount was the solution. I’m totally pleased. Now I hope that it lasts for a long time.

Very Sturdy, but missing measurements/dimensions - see other reviewer for details
As another reviewer pointed out, this is not "lightweight", it weighs 2.8kg or 5.2lbs so installing in under a roof eve will take patience and strength. It is a sturdy piece of steel tubing with a solid steel plate (1/8" thick, 4.5"x2.0625") welded on for the mount to the rafter tail. I'm slightly concerned that the torque of the weight hanging beyond the eve will overwhelm my 1.5" thick rafter tails and eventually sag away from vertical. I may consider stays or adjustable support arms to improve the sturdiness. I'm not mounting anything heavy - a weather station - which requires a solid mount. My biggest complaint is that the company, DRM, does not seem to provide solid measurements of all dimensions. Thank you to reviewer "NuclearCryptoHardwareGeek" who provided a drawing with many dimensions. The specification in the description that this is a 1 and 5/8 inch sized tubing is slightly misleading. That is the Outside Diameter (OD) only in the ~4" flared section at the upper end. The Inside Diameter (ID) in that flared section is 1 and 3/8 inch (for those considering an extension pole).Color - Be aware that although in the company image on Amazon the device looks black, what was shipped to me June2023 is a much nicer (less obtrusive) neutral gray.As other reviewers have mentioned there are no mounting bolts provided. Given that the type and length would vary depending on material, this is understandable. The 4 large holes in the mounting plate are 5/16" diameter. Shop accordingly.

Will fit Starlink
I bought this mount since all of our roof line has gutters and we’re looking for an option to install our starlink dish without drilling into the roof. This mount works well and will fit the basic starlink dish. I popped the end caps out of the mount and ran the wiring through the tube since the starlink connectors are in the post. The tube was slightly bigger than the starlink post so I wrapped the post with tape prior to putting in the top of the mount and it fit nice and tight. Seems sturdy installed. A nice alternative to some of the other options.

Heavy Duty Solid Build
Pros:- Quality Built and design- Powder coated to prevent rust- Heavy gauge pipe used- Mounting plate has two nail holes to allow quick positioning and holding with nails until screws can be fastened for final placement- Both end caps sealed with plastic plug to prevent moisture and water penetration- Nice neutral color, goes well with my exterior colorCons:- Heavy gauge pipe used (yea this is listed in Pros also, but I feel the pipe gauge could have one or two gauge lighter and the gauge selection makes the mount seem over-engineered and a bit overweight, 7 pounds)- Comes with a ground plane screw but no instructions as to how or what this is used for- Could have included the 4 5/16" x 1-1/2" screws as they could have bought in bulk and pass the savings to the customers- Pipe mount is detailed as 1 5/8" but the top 3 or 4 inches of the mount, the pipe's OD gets larger, 2". I wasn't expecting this and now I need to purchase additional mounting hardware to accommodate the larger outer diameterOverall I am pleased with the product. The designer of this product took that extra step to make a well engineered mount.

Works Perfect for a Starlink Dish
I am glad I found this mount for my Star Link dish instead of drilling holes in my roof or fascia. It was simple to install and the material was better built and sturdy than I anticipated. I would recommend this mount for any Star Link customer that isn't to fond of drilling holes through their roofs. Now i need to find an extension to raise it up about 3-4 feet so I can clear the tops of the trees around my property so I can minimize obstructions on my signal.

Great shape to keep mount out of the elements, very sturdy
Great shape to keep mount out of the elements, very sturdy. My simple review is this: if you are planning to mount on an eave or roof edge of any kind, unless it doesn't fit (see another reviewer's awesome dimensional drawing), I cant imagine why you wouldn't use this mount.Read on if you want my opinion: It is very (maybe too) sturdy-somewhat heavy, maybe the listing states it but it feels like 3-4 lbs, so you will need to attach it to as much of a solid surface as you can get. I nailed a backing plate of 1x4 scrap that I had to the eave then used 5/16" x 2 1/2" (your application may vary based on your material) stainless wood/lag screws with locking washers as the hardware. Now I think you could probably do a pull up off it and it wouldn't budge. Best idea for a mount I can imagine for keeping your mounting site out of the elements.

Missing mounting hardware
Disappointed to find out this product does not come with fasteners to mount. You must provide your own. Delayed my installation of product.
