What is the difference between the sureshot model and the Vaper model ? One is double the price of the other

Actually, that look and appear to be exactly the same. I originally owned a Sure Shot and it has worked flawlessly for years. I decided to get another sprayer and this time I went with a Vaper cause of cost. Well, after buying one and returning it cause it leaked, they replaced it with another one that leaked as well. I then was credited the money towards a Sure Shot. Now you might get lucky with a Vapor and you might not...

well this work well for lubing motorcycle chain with chain and cable fluid?

I would say no. This spray has a large spray pattern to cover large areas. Your chain line would end up all over your bike.

You can put acetone in it, because acetone has a neutral Ph of 7, and is definitely not an acid, regardless of what Wade said with such conviction like he knew what he was talking about. *thumbs up*

Can this sprayer mist cooking oils?

It will mist anything you put in it, I'd stick to oils or solvents
