For ULTIMATE DMC fans!!!!!
One of the best figures i've ever owned. The detail on him and his weapons are nice and his articulation is good and his stand is nice. The only complain I have is that rebellion doesn't really look like rebellion. Otherwise a fantastic figure from a great company!

Devils Will Cry
Last year about this time, I purchased many things from Amazon-- the lot of them being action figures. I am a fan of the Devil May Cry series, and about this time, I had already bought other action figures from the series. So, why not another?Upon arriving, I was confused on why the package was so small. Opening it, I was so disappointed. Talk about your heart sinking to your feet! Dante was so small... nothing like it advertised. The packaging was very attractive, (and all in Japanese) but it was nothing that I had imagined.Upon removing him from the fairly simply plastic, I saw what great detail had been put into his weapons. His weapons. Not himself. After letting him sit for a bit, (it's best to let anything with moving parts settle before using, as the heat/cold from the packaging makes it vulnerable to breakage) I picked him up to play. He had very limited articulation, and some things weren't quite right about the way he moved. The hair colour was all wrong, (being purpleish-grey)and some of the paint has already began to peel. Placing his sword Rebellion (amazing details) in his hand to further test him out, his wrist snapped off almost immediately. Keep in mind, I was very delicate with him, (seeing as though he caused me $35.90) and there was no movement that should have caused this. I could no longer use that hand, so I tested the other with one of his guns. This was nice, though. It stayed in his palm, and the attention to detail was astonishing. As I mentioned earlier, his weapons had amazing detail. Like, Rebellion has every last characteristic down to the cracks in the skull! And Ebony & Ivory even had the golden signature painted carefully on their sides. Nevan, however, had the scythe on backwards, and it just looked plain wrong when Dante held it.TL;DR?This toy is a monstrosity. Would kick someone away from buying it. So not recommended.

Think on what I say
Now this figure I have is not your average figure to get for your child to play because he likes playing Devil May Cry, but since the game is rated M for Mature I doubt that's the case. You either play with them or are a collector. So let's get to the points. The articulation is somewhat full, hip and thigs have no real joints but they are made to do various poses, but good luck getting them there. They are stiff as wood. The detail is very good until you get tot he face. That is probably the major drawback, the face. If you pose it right it looks somewhat like Dante, but other than that it might as well be Raiden from MGS2 with white hair or the brother of Olga Gerlukavich from the same game. The bonus weapons of the shotgun, Ebony and Ivory, the guitar, all look like the weapons for ht egame, except the shotgun might be the design from DMC 2. The reason Isay this is because the hilt of Rebellion seems to look more like DMC 2, even though it does have the face awakened,it has the bulky hilt or hand guard as the Rebellion from Devil May Cry 2. In DMC 3, the game the real model for the sword should be based off of, Rebellion has those thin hilts that stick out instead of hte blockier build. Just look at the two swords and You'll see what I mean. Also, Dante is shorter than a can of soda. Still, if you're a hardcore DMC fan and own all the games, all the books, all the shirts (yes I do own them all) and a replica of one of the one of swords (I got Rebellion), then you should buy this one.

Know what you're buying
In terms of being Dante, I found the paintjob, style, and weapons to be acceptable. However, I did not like the Shoulder joints and hip joints. The pictures make it look like He has close ball and socket joints, but he has outdated rotating joints. The pictures you see are just about the only cool poses you can put him in. Also, his right hand cannot rotate.

Piece of Junk
This toy is sad, breaks easily, jacket made from solid plastic making it fall over easily, the moveable part are junk, price? To expensive for the quality. Looks fake overall due to the poor painting job. Easily smaller than 6 inches. My advice, buy the devil may cry 4 Dante from square enix rather than this piece of junk.
