Works nicely
It was a nice tool, I only used once before my dog chewed it to an unrecognizable mass. Guess I’ll be buying another. Puppies…sigh.

Awesome little tool......
I just started using this tool on my papers in my journals and I must say it's so much easier then the scissors!! I love the way it makes some of my papers look. Definitely a good buy!!

Perfect little tool
Works like a charm! I love all Tim Holtz items and this one is no exception. Yes, you can use scissors to distress the edge of your substrate but there is more control with this little (inexpensive) tool.

Saves my arthritic hands
The results are not as natural as when you tear by hand but it does the job. I can easily rip paper but when you are working on ripping multiple sheets or large boards or only need a tiny amount at the edge roughed up, it can get difficult and painful just to tear it by hand. This nifty little tool prevent me from injuring my hands and fingers trying to achieve a natural shredded look. It helps inks and oxides adhear to the edges as well, especially on paper that has some sort of varnish or plastic-y finish on top. Nice little tool that does it's job. I admit I think it's a bit expensive for what it is. I have seen other brands for half the price.

GREAT ONCE YOU GET THE TENSION RIGHT...
Great stuff. Adds a very authentic distressed edge PROVIDING you get the tension right on the card or paper. I've found the best way is to secure one end of the sheet in a crafting vice and gently pull the paper or card with your hand to create the tension. Ragging the edge with the tool, using your free hand, produces stunning results.
