This was purchased to replace an identical looking Salter timer that stopped working within 6 Months.Well made nicely constructed and a good overall size at 9.5cm base diameter, very clear numbers and an easy to operate dial, and a good weight with a non slip base. A loud timer that sounds for a decent amount of time. So good to use for any persons with potential impairments. Only time will tell if it outlasts the Salter. A good purchase.

Bought for elderly parents to replace the plastic ones I could never work out and which yellowed and broke. Read reviews and liked the look of this one. Parents love it, and we all find it easy to use and to hear. Would recommend

Great as egg timer. Much easier to use than watching the clock. Seems to be reasonably accurate (eggs ok!). Just a bit of a faff to wind up to 50 mins then back to 5, or whatever, to wind up alarm. Doesn’t ring otherwise. Looks smart.

Simple basic timer that seems accurate & is very easy to use.

This time was good while it worked but sadly after 2.5 years it has given up. It was a decent price in comparison with other analogue timers (which is what I wanted) but disappointing that it has not lasted longer. When working, the bell was sufficiently loud and long enough for me to notice it if I was out of the kitchen. It ticks when working, which didn’t bother me, and until now worked every time, as long as I remembered to turn it all the way around to 60 mins then back to the time I needed.

My last timer was shaped as a fat cook and it was irresistible to the grandchildren and it got broken. This one is plain and so far hasn't excited interest. Set time and short loudish ring gives me a heads up.

We would give this zero stars if there was an option.It stopped working after 6 months. Like many products nowadays - it’s designed for ‘style over substance’ and stops working after a short period of time and ends up in landfill.We would not recommend buying the product.We bought an electronic timer to replace this one but it also broke after 6 months and again adding to landfill.Is this the modern way of making products - part of ‘planned obsolescence’?We use the alarms on our phones now.

Timer is really easy to use and has large numbers so easy to see. Looks good, good size and is well made, does exactly what it’s meant to do!

Acheté pour remplacer notre minuteur de cuisine qui venait de rendre l'âme ! Ma femme est ravie, car stable et les matériaux sont de belle facture, et la sonnerie est suffisante, même pour mon épouse qui n'entend pas bien ! Agréable au toucher, et lecture aisée. Bref très satisfait !

Was glad to spot Taylor timer. I know if it's Taylor-made, it will be worth the money, and last a long time.
