We bought this 7/14/21 and fonally had a beach day 8/1/21 little bummed we didnt recieve the sunshade for it.

Can Canopy work outdoors?

This is definitely need, because it is too glare and too sun when swimming. With canopy, my kids will like swimming more.

Can it be returned after one or two uses if my child ends up hating it?

That you have to speak with amazon about, my grandson loves it and I won’t be returning it

Why does it say inflate 2-3 times on section behind back?

It's a very tiny section, and honestly, whatever air you get in it comes back out before you can secure the air cap. I tried, but ultimately it doesn't seem to affect anything. I guess it could offer a little passing, but very little, and not enough to worry about. IMHO.
