A must-have urinary problems
Easy to use and strap onto leg. I had to cut the tube down to about half it's length so I can put it on my thigh where pants are more loose and makes it more difficult to tell you have it on. Condom itself is good. Trim down your pubic region so the hair doesn't get stuck while rolling it on. With cold comes shrinkage and kind of makes your member withdraw and sometimes unstick at the front so it sticks to itself and urine itself will weaken the adhesive. I looked up the barb condoms online and bought the right size for cheaper than here

Just what was needed
I like the ability to customize the tube length. If the length is correct, there will be a totally comfortable fit so that you won't notice any "tug" or it's presents while sitting, standing or walking. The only way that this unit could leak is by not installing the hoses far enough on the connectors. I can see a possible problem with installation of these hoses by individuals with arthritic hands or compromised grip strength. I had enough hose left over that could be installed as a temporary extension down stream of the bag shut off valve so that the bag would not have to be removed for safe drainage. Great product and answer to an embarrassing problem!! My only recommendation is that better instructions be included for measuring and cutting the hose for proper fit and comfort. Also better general instructions for hose installation and use.

Easy to put on, stays on, painful to take off.
I started using condom catheters after getting out of the hospital. Bad case of flu and pneumonia. It’s just easier for me to use the catheter at night. I like the product with one exception. It provides a very good seal. It’s very easy to put on. It stays put all night. Only problem is in the morning when I want to take it off, it’s just about impossible. I found it very painful to stretch and pull. I got some adhesive releaser that seem to help. But pulling it over my foreskin is not a pleasant experience that I really do not want to deal with again. For me it’s like two and out. It’s too bad because it is a good product with that one glaring exception. Best of luck to all.

Works BUT Precautions Required
Works BUT you must take precautions to avoid getting pubic hair caught in the adhesive AND to avoid pinching. Experienced both problems on separate occasions - not pleasant at all.

Leaked and painful to remove
Used this product for the first time last night. First urination it worked alright, the second went well too so thought I was safe to trust it and sleep. Third time the thing lost its seal somewhere (probably warm urine loosened the adhesive in one area) and things felt wet. Thankfully I woke up quickly and had doubled bed pads under me. Went into the shower to remove it and even with hot water directed into it, it hurt like hell to remove the thing from myself. Even going slowly and carefully It felt like I was peeling off skin!! Never again… do NOT do this to yourself.

Feel Confident in Going Out Again
I’ve had an incontinence issue since my early 40’s due to a very bad car accident I was in. As a result I stopped going out to place unless I knew I could sit close to a bathroom & still had an occasional accident which was extremely embarrassing. Though my wife never complained I felt bad. We only went out for our anniversary and maybe 2or 3 other times just so I could take her out and that was only after our daughter (an RN) taught her how to install a Foley catheter in me, which needless to say, ruined the intimacy on our anniversary trips. Our daughter told us about the condom catheters that they started using on patients & my wife went into major research mode & found this product to be highly rated. She ordered it & put it on me the night it came in. We’ve gone out more in the past few months then the previous 10 years & haven’t had 1 leakage or night time accident in our bed since using them. Couldn’t be happier with using these & feeling confident in taking her out without worrying about an embarrassing accident. I feel like I have my life back again

Saved my Sanity
My husband suffered a couple of fractured vertebras a few months ago and he has been in a lot of pain. He would wake up at least ten times a night to go to the bathroom and I would get up to help him. He recently went to the emergency room and they used a similar product on him. When we got home I got busy researching the product and this is what I found. After seven months of of 24/7 I am finally getting some sleep. We are on day 9 of using this product and so far there have been no leaks and no issues. It has worked great for us. I did quite a bit of research and read many of the reviews. I got some tips on what to expect, but I thought that for Twenty dollars we couldn't really go wrong. I read about the difficulty of removing it, and bought some products to minimize the pain. With those tips plus my own techniques, pain has not been an issue at all. I purchased small pads to remove adhesive, a liquid that is supposed to breakdown the adhesive. But I have found that the best product to use is grape seed oil and a q-tip. I also used olive oil, and it does work well, but grape seed oil works better. The oil breaks down the adhesive much better than other more expensive products. I hope this review and these tips help others.

OK, once you get the hang of it
Some advice: avoid kinks by cutting the tube to the right distance (any slack will cause kinks at the cath connection resulting in too much pressure followed by leakage and a big mess!). An extra tube could be helpful (in case you cut the first one wrong. Keep the bag, tubing, and cath in-line. Try a couple different size external caths (I needed to go down one size), get cath adhesive remover pads! (VERY necessary & important for easy & PAINLESS removal). Don’t even put one on without having the adhesive remover first (or you’ll be very sorry). Use cath skin prep pads and/or tincture of benzoin to help adhesion. After a very messy accident on my first attempt and then a little experience, they work great! A cloth leg sleeve makes it much more comfortable. I only use the top strap (I remove the lower one). Bought a small funnel and used some of the left over tubing for easy rinsing. The cath bag cleaning solutions that you can get help the bags and tubing last longer (and smell good). UPDATE: I have had problems getting flow when sitting. There is a lot of flow resistance. I bought a reusable Urocare bag and I had no problems with flow resistance (and can use it sitting as well). I think the problem with the bag is the reflux valve (at the cath connection) has too much flow resistance. The fact that I have had problems using this bag when sitting would be a big problem for a wheelchair bound person (or using during driving). I’m decreasing my review to two stars. The Urocare bags with their larger anti reflux valve is much better. Much less back pressure.
