I've got to say this light is pretty nice. I use it on my road bike and boy does this light up the road at night. Even on the low setting it is brighter than my previous $150+ bike light. I've tried this out on the head band and would probably not recommend it for long term use as it does get pretty hot without proper airflow over the light like when used on a bike. Even though it's a pretty nice light I do have some complaints on it though it is not a deal breaker. First I'm not really a big fan of the rubber band strap that is included; sure it's designed for quick remove and secure from bike to head lamp. It does secure it to the bike just enough, but I find it pretty weak. The size of this light is pretty huge! Comparing this to an everyday object I'd say its about the size of a racket ball or tennis ball. Last, the battery pouch is ok, not great as compared to my other bike light where it was a hard case with a groove for sitting on the bike frame nicely.Overall, if I had to buy this again I would, that is until a smaller, equally or brighter light is made in the future.

Got this for my bike at burning man...which if you have been you know it gets pitch black out in certain parts. well, this light saved my ass almost every night. It has a good width of light, just enough to see everything in front of you when riding at a good pace. I recommend it for anyone who cares about where they are biking. The head lamp option nice also a nice tough, but i dont like the external battery pack for that use.
