this uses common hose threads, making a super easy hook up. i highly reccommend this item.

Installed system today. Used it to replace a cheaper "elbow" style float valve that frequently got hung up causing overflows". This system fixed that! Suggestions for insuring a good install. When down sizing inlet to 1/4 inch input you may have to get a little creative beyond the fittings provided. I would recommend using plumbing paste or liquid thread lock instead of Teflon on the threads. The pressure switch is brilliantly designed and works perfectly! Thanks for making this available!!!

I have a large stream/waterfall that has it water supplied via a large stock tank reservoir. Historically I have utilized a float valve like you use on an evaporative cooler. That approach had two challenges: 1) It had a hard time re-supplying water quick enough during initial start-up of the stream. The line in to old float valve was just a 1/8”. 2) The float valve tended to leak a little bit and after a few seasons needed to be replaced. Put in a new 1/2” float valve and issues have been resolved. Time will tell about durability. With this order you will have one in reserve. With the threaded connection it would be a quick change.

Tried another sellers style had nothing but issues, these were easy to set up and set depth you want. Material made from seem to be build well (like the way the float is incased so nothing comes in contact with it). No leakage at all. UPDATE: after 2- 3 weeks of use both valves failed and flooded by hydro systems. Find something else

I used for my pool refill, I purchased a different one (stainless one), but downwards water outlet caused waves, which generated many on/off action and sounds, even worse, the water hammer effect caused many noise and vibration. I purchased this one, it does not have the water hammer sounds as the outlet is to the side, and seems the value shutoff nicely. To adjust the wafer level, original I used 1/2 PVC Slide Repair Coupling, build an adjust clamp, too complicated, I ended up using multiple 1/2" riser, which is much simpler. Durability I didn't give 5, as it may not last long under the the Arizona Sun. :)

working as advertised for 2 months now. Less cumbersome than the traditional float type level controllers, easily plumbed into reservoir, cost effective. Hint for those using this for flowing water features, such as waterfalls, which periodically shutoff by timer: ensure pump is circulating before setting this device to the control at your desired level in the tank. When the circulation pump shuts off the water returning to the reservoir may increase above this device possibly overflowing your retention pond/tank/reservoir.

Har denna kopplad från en ibc till en mindre behållare. Efter inkoppling så fylls behållaren bra med endast självtryck och stängs av helt. Om läget förändras under säsongen så återkommer jag med ny recension.

Installed into a 500 gallon water tank. Now I don’t have to set an alarm to remind me to turn off water. Installed through the lid quite easily. Assuming it continues to work, it was a perfect fix.
