KNIPEX 87 51 250, 10 in. Cobra® ES Pliers, Capacity 1-1/2 in.

If you've been wanting to try a pair of Knipex pliers try these, they won't disappoint. I've been using these pliers for about a month now and I can confidently say they have lived up to the Knipex hype and are well worth the price. The low profile design of the head fits into tight spaces with ease and the pointed jaws allow you to grasp items that other pliers just can't. Most recently this feature came in handy when removing the cone washers that help retain the upper bearing cap on the steering knuckles of a Toyota solid front axle. The cone washer sits in a well in the knuckle and over time it sticks to the stud making it difficult to remove. The narrow pointed jaws of these pliers were able to grasp the dime thick portion of the cone washer sticking out of the well and I was able to twist and wiggle it breaking it free and more easily removing it. As with the rest of the Cobra line these pliers are easily adjusted with a push button mechanism that has a finer and in my opinion much better design than a traditional slip groove plier. The steel used to cast these pliers seems to be of very high quality, far superior to Chinese and even most American tool steel. The teeth of these pliers are exceptionally sharp and have proven very durable, they bite into grade 8 fasteners and hardened castings and do not release until you do. I've turned bolts as large as 3/4in and never did I feel the handle flex or twist even under my full 180lb body weight. I can not say the same about other pliers I've owned. I'm thoroughly impressed and high recommend these pliers.

I am thrilled with the new Cobra extra slims. They have saved me some frustration several times already in the first couple of weeks. The build quality is excellent just as I knew it would be from this brand. Fit, grip, and versatility exceeds my expectations which are already high for knipex. Some tools are more than worth the extra cost….this is one of those.

High quality,AS USUAL, beneficial to user, great in tight places. Would DEFINITELY buy again. A must have in your toolbox..NO regrets!!

I highly recommend Knipex tools, renowned for their exceptional German craftsmanship. These tools are reliable and effective in securing objects, ensuring their stability and preventing movement. I am confident in the durability and performance of these remarkable tools.

Great for random stuff at industrial facilities when doing rough maintenance or dealing with masterlinks on chains. The extra thin are worth the cost, and the locking jaw size is the goat.

Very nice durable

If you're looking at knipex, you already know the quality. Hands down the best pliers made. These ones are my favorite, they do everything the other styles can do, plus the fine tip for hard to reach spots.

Best brand of slip joint pliers on the market. Haven't found a pair that come close to Knipex quality. Great tool but I do like the original better than these with the skinny head on it. Still a great tool.

Cant best these grips with the longer slim Jaws They fit where other cant

Super Recomendo!!

Great product, and quality is just amazing

Excellent quality by Knipex as usual, very good grip, comfortable to use, worth the money
