This harness made all the difference!
First of all, the seller is wonderful. My dog is in between 2 sizes, and the seller patiently worked with me to get the best fit I love sellers committed to good customer service! Just as important, this harness is great! I recently adopted an adult dog is serious need of rescue and training. He's large, and trying to get him to safely, calmly walk on a leash was a challenge. Our trainer recommended this harness, and it changed everything. I clip the leash on the back and the chest. It was very calming for my dog, and he immediately became much better at walking with me rather than dragging me where he wanted to go. It's not a magic harness, but it is very effective and made training much more productive. Also, my dog now associates the harness with training and doggie play dates. When he sees me carrying the harness, he runs up to me, sits calmly while I put it on, and then goes to the car, waiting for me to open the door. His behavior changes when the harness is on - focused, calm, attentive. Rather like a service dog when its vest is put on.

WOW!! It Works!!๐ฏ
I never thought a harness would work for my dog. I have a 50lb American pitbull terrier. She has high energy and prey drive. Plus leash reactivity to large dogs. Iโve used normal harnesses and she dragged me especially when she sees a cat or another dog on leash. This harness was a total game changer. I use the PetSafe no pull leash with it and clip it on both D rings and I am proud to say I am not embarrassed walking my dog anymore! I already get death stares cause of her breed so now being able to walk my dog normally makes me feel good. Iโve tried prong collars, gentle leaders, martingales , you name it Iโve bought it and this is by far the most improvement Iโve ever seen with my dog. Itโll prob take some time with a dog who is highly leash reactive/aggressive but this DOES WORK! I havenโt had this harness long at all and already see improvements! Definitely try it out, wonโt hurt to try! I wish everyone happy walks with their dogs! All breeds big and small!!๐ฏโค๏ธ๐พ๐ถ

MAGIC
I have a 2 year old, 60 lb, Border Collie mix who DRAGS me when we walk. I have worked with him with a trainer, did positive reinforcement, and even stopped every time he pulled on a walk. Nothing would work, until I bought this harness. He doesnโt pull at all now, he walks like he has never pulled in his life. As expected, it doesnโt hold up very well if a dog chews on it, and my dog has gone through two. The company will actually replace it for a fraction of the price though if it breaks or your dog chews it. I love the velvet under the arms too. A magic harness!

So far, so good!
I like this product and so does my Chocolate Lab. Better control than a prong collar, without the prongs. Easy to put on and take off. Once the harness reaches a sufficient age on good shape, I'd change the rating to 5 stars.

Finally, one that works! Tried several others that didn't.
This one works! I have a 11 month old rescue German Shepherd that walks well on a collar as long as I am giving her rewards for being by my side. With just a collar, as soon as I stop the rewards, she pulls ahead again. Once I put the Freedom No-Pull on her and she felt it at work, she quickly decided it was better to stay near me even if she wasn't get a steady stream of rewards. I still give her rewards for paying attention, but don't have to keep rewards going non-stop. Love this harness! I tried the Ez Walk harness and my dog managed to jump up enough while I was pulling back on the front loop and slip her front legs through the front piece and onto her torso - oops. Even when it stayed in place, it didn't seem to stop my pup that well. Tried the Gentle Leader & Halti head halters and she kept trying to scrape her face on grass whenever we stopped - bad news for the eyes. Tried the Sporn harness, which works similarly to the Freedom, but was a total pain to get on and off - she didn't like having me bend one front leg at a time. We also have the Petsafe Surefit Harness, which is excellent for getting on and off, but does not prevent the dog from pulling. The Freedom combines the effectiveness of the Sporn with the ease of the Surefit - a definite winner!

good for large strong dogs
I run with my 88 pound Rhodesian Ridgeback so I needed a strong harness. This is well designed for running or walking as the straps allow free range of motion without rubbing against the shoulder or upper legs. Too many harnesses restrict the shoulder motion.

2nd harness; it can tear/fray
This is the 2nd harness we have had that has started to fray. It's amazing while it's intact but once it starts to tear, it's not so useful. It's a pretty expensive harness to have to replace after only a few months.
