What is the length of the power cord?

Just measured 4 ft. 6 inches in length and there is no place to wrap the cord around the underside of the base like some counter appliances.

My husband and like different types of coffee. Can we just put a servings worth of coffee in the hopper at a time instead of keeping the hooper full?

Absolutely!! I have a little digital weighing machine, weighs in both ounces and grams. I use a Bialetti Stovetop Moka Pot, so I weigh out just 22 grams of whole beans (because that’s what works for me), I dump the beans in the hopper and grind. So I only grind what I use at that moment. I am actually loving this grinder, you can adjust the grind by small increments and really get different flavors from the same bean by experimenting. Highly recommend.

No cord storage and cord is not removable
