Could this replace the handle on a Moen Dartmoor shower kit?

Check to make sure your handle unscrews from your fixture. If not, it will not work.

What is the exact length of the porcelain section?

Sorry, I no longer have that information. I installed the part, and we have since moved. Should be a spec somewhere on the internet though.

Will this fit a shower handle and a tub handle?

You should measure the one you are trying to replace. The threads did match my shower handle threads and it screwed in correctly. The dimensions as listed are correct. "The length of the replacement part from screw to tip is 2.5”. From base of handle (sans screw) is 2.25”. The width of the handle at the widest part is .75”."
