TubeTop Crossbar Adapter

Nice to have brand name product and quality at the same price as generics. This product does not immediately show up in searches for some reason. Use is simple enough although the long locking lever can be tricky in tight spots. I found very quickly this will NOT work with some kids bikes as it is too long and the lever locking requiring too much space. Will need to get something shorter and with a different style of locking for at least one end. Overall though, it is heavy duty, works well for adult and youth bikes.

The Yakima TubeTop Adapter is a must-have for anyone with a bike! I recently got it for my step-through bike, and it has made transporting it so much easier. Works as expected.

These work well, only gave them 4 stars because they slide in and out so easy that if you’re not paying attention, you will hurt your fingers or other body parts that are engaged with these parts. Quality of these are very good, I would recommend to maker maybe to install a weak internal spring so slide injuries would drop to zero, I would purchase these again, if they read this and improve them with a light spring, well buy them and give the ones I have to one of my favorite sons, lol.

My wife’s cruiser bike can’t be easily mounted on our bike rack, due to the slanting frame. This product makes mounting a snap, and it’s very easy to use. The telescoping cylindrical bar should fit any size bike. I reviewed other less expensive products and was concerned that their light-weight construction could result in structural failure during transport. I have no such concern with this item; it’s sturdy and the connection to the bike’s seat post and bar stem is securely solid. I think it’s well-worth the extra cost for the peace of mind that the bike will still be on the rack when we reach our destination.

Worked very well to attach my wife’s low-step trek to our Thule receiver rack.

We love our Yakima spare wheel mounted bike rack, but our two bikes didn't sit on it too well due to the angle of the crossbar on my partner's bike. This is a really quick and easy solution to that problem. As with the bike rack itself, this accessory is very robust and well-made and we now have no concerns at all about how the bike sit on the rack.

El producto se siente bastante robusto en calidad (muy bueno). Me sirvio para no batallar en montar una bicicleta al rack. Lo super recomiendo
