Everything was covered in a sticky goo the box the candles are in, the candles themselves, and the holder luckily it wiped off the holder, I dread to think what it was, the items are good though the holder is small and I'll be honest I wont be lighting the candles in it, i can imagine the mess that would make, so really it's an ornament, the candles last about an hour so perfect for what I need them for
