Bought it for my fiancé for Christmas. He loves it! Very bright, and light. Best part is that the 18v battery is interchangeable with the rest of his 18v Hitachi tools. We recently had to use it for a power outage. Works great!

Bright cordless light with good battery life
Bright cordless light with good battery life. It is made out of all plastic so be careful. The positive stops used to rotate the light could be much better, especially when using a heavy battery. I am a professional carpenter.

Great, bright, but seems like a short battery life. Fully charged batteries last 3 hours or less. If you need a really bright light for short periods, this unit's great. If you have multiple batteries (I have 8) just keep swapping them out. Maybe I'm expecting too much from the technology but I was hoping for longer lighting times.

Not good at all...I would avoid this so called work light.
Very cheap plastic. I have almost all Hitachi power tools and I for the price, this is just nor worth it. It is not as bright as I would like for a work light - many better options out there. It is more like a lantern than a worklight. It was so cheaply built the power switch was faulty on the one I got or the wiring for the leds was, could not be sure and had to return it.

Great if you’ve bought into metabo HPT
Very bright, 2 settings not very noticeable difference between “high” and “low” but battery seems to last forever on low. I use this light for work, not camping. So in any given situation I might need light for 3-4 hours tops. A fully charged 3.0 battery does the trick

It is VERY bright. It came in really handy this fall after the time change and needing to finish up outside stuff. A bit pricy and seems a little flimsy. But I guess everything is these days. I expect this to be worth it in the long run.

Got this on a sale for around 45 bucks. It was definitely worth it. It shine's pretty bright and supposedly runs around 8 hrs on a 3.0ah battery on the brightest setting (haven't tested run time myself though). Overall it is a bright little work light which doesn't require a cord. Would buy again
