This is good at allowing you to use your existing pans on the induction hob, no need to buy special new ones. However, bear in mind that you have to heat this first, so it takes a lot of power before you can actually start cooking

Groundbreaking innovative for induction users
Purchased to enable preparing coffee in Italian style coffee pot maker on induction and it works a treat.Warms up quickly. You just need to be extra careful, as the plate does get very hot, all of it, not only the area pot is covering. Make sure to remove the plate of the heat source immediately after use and keep away from children and animals until fully cold. I have a very curious cat myself, so I know exactly what am talking about :-)Highly recommended product!

DO NOT BUY THIS RUBBISH.This has just ruined a £650 AEG induction hob. I knew I should not have trusted this. It has literally burned a stain and damaged the glass!

It's OK - not brilliant
I bought this to use on a powerful gaggenau induction hob so that I can use my Mauviel copper pans. Mostly at low heat for saucing. It is not thick enough and also takes ages to heat up (it must have the pan on it). I can't really see the point of having a detachable handle. The instructions say it turns yellow, but mine hasn't yet.It claims to be three layer, but is not thick enough to be convincing. I have a smaller one from a different maker that is a great deal better.Not recommended.

Great , it works use it under pots on stove that are not usuable on induction , wish id had earlier i gave away all my hob cookware an brought new !But i brought a sear an cook slow cooker an couldn’t use the pot on my induction hob did some reading on internet an found these difusers on line glad i did it works great. They do discolour when using them and handles an base get hot have to use oven glove with it. Happy with the purchase .

I can now use my old pans on my new induction hob. The heat isn't as instantly controllable whilst using it.
