Got new lamps but they took E27 bulbs and a have all the Philips Hue bulbs in B22 from my last lamps and round my house so didn’t want to have to buy new bulbs as the bulbs a have are not cheap so got these to use my B22 Philip Hue bulbs and safe money. There is a bit of play between the bulb and cap but not an issue at all. Well worth the money and will buy again if needed.

Very easy to install and use, no issues with that but when I add this to my existing e27 ceiling lamb to use b22 bulbs, the length of the bulb and the base increased noticeably. I think a lower profile version needed.

I didn't even know these existed until a friend told me. And thank goodness they did!I have a few Philips Hue bulbs, which are all sayonet (B22) type. A friend bought me a couple of lamps as a gift, which were screw (E27) type. With this adapter, no need to to buy new hue bulbs, and no need to upset my friend by never using them (or asking if the receipt was still availabe!!).Just be aware that the adaptor will add a couple of centimetres to how far the bulp sticks up (or down).The adaptor works as expected, and feels pretty sturdy and good quality.

..but I would wish that they managed a shorter overall length once the bulb is fitted. The adapter and bulb are a tight fit in most lighting units.
