KOHLER Strive® 29" Undermount Kitchen Sink, Medium Single Bowl with Basin Rack, Stainless Steel Kitchen Sinks, K-5409-NA

Absolutely beautiful undermount sink that I ordered for a kitchen remodel. I have owned a number of undermount sinks, and I specifically ordered this one from Kohler for 1) it drains very well. I have another undermount sink which doesn’t drain as well for some reason, and it must be a common enough problem for Kohler to call it out, as this model of sink is described as good draining. That’s really important to me. 2). It does not tarnish or stain and comes with a limited lifetime warranty. Since an undermount sink is pretty permanent till I remodel again, I was willing to pay more for the Kohler name as I know from prior experience that Kohler stands behind their products.

This sink is perfect! We remodeled and it’s like a chefs kitchen now. Ours came with the bottom and I love the attachment on top. Ours fits fine everywhere. Make sure to let the fabricator know you have the pieces. I showed him before the hole was cut, because I read someone’s wouldn’t come out after they put the bottom in. I can get the bottom out I just bring it up carefully so I won’t scratch the sink. The sink is durable, but it is stainless. I bought a clear rectangle container for the bottom so my family puts their silverware in it until I can wash it. We bought a Kraus commercial grade faucet that moves and has a hose. The hose works great with it and looks beautiful. We had to rinse out our old sink, so you will need one that can rinse out this big sink. I love, love this sink!!!!

I agree with the other reviewer that it was disappointing to find that it was made in China, but I haven't noticed any quality issues that may be a result of that, so I'm going to give it 5 stars. I used it in an Ikea 30" base cabinet and it fits just right, though it's just glued to the underside of my stone countertop rather than being attached using the supplied brackets. It's the biggest sink I could find that would fit in a 30" cabinet. It looks almost identical when undermounted to the less-expensive Vault model, but this one is definitely the higher-end model. It is 16-gauge rather than the 18-gauge steel, which makes it quieter and feel more solid. The supplied racks are a nice bonus.

Fit and finish is pretty good; came well packaged to avoid damage. Like most stainless steel sinks, it scratches easily. Made in China's, which is disappointing, given the cost.

Great product with amazing finish. We wanted to replace our smaller Kohler sink with this. We are happy with the replacement. Build quality is top class as thick as described. Great addition to our kitchen

The screen which fits into the bottom of the sink is just a nuisance. Everything falls through (silverware, food scraps) and the screen needs to be removed to get the sink clean. A waste of money. Otherwise the sink is fine….

Absolutely love this new sink. Fits a 30" cabinet perfectly under mount granite counter top. We do not have any problems with water drainage. The wire rack on the bottom is great. Note the upper wire drain rack does NOT fit the width if you under mount this on granite. It would just get in the way anyway. Deep sink. Worked out great for us.

What can I say about a sink. It's made out of stainless steel, it looks exactly like the photo, it transports water from your faucet to your drain... Because it's big, it takes more work to clean than a smaller sink, but it doesn't take a PhD to conclude that.
