Which type is best choice for 9 foot table use?

For a 9 foot table, I would suggest a slow speed such as #6 or even #7 or perhaps #5 for an experienced player, since you do not want the puck to glide all the way to the end of the table when only a slight push is made. #1, 1.5, and 2 speed are made for 22 foot tables and even then it can be awfully fast for a beginner player.

which powder is fastest

The #1 Speed also known as SuperGlide is the fastest shuffleboards powder that I know of. I hope this was helpful. Thank you and take care! Sincerely, Lauren McNevin Hawley's Best Sellers

Can you use wax without useing silicone spray ? Thanks Bob

Silicone spray helps with "Dead Spots" where you don't have powder wax. If you have an area without powder wax, the puck stops. Using a maintenance kit with a Liquid wax and silicone spray prevents those dead spots. ZieglerWorld
