I like the thing. However, if you have a really big receiver you won't be able to fit it inside. Or there won't be a lot of space between the top vents and the shelf. Receiver will get really hot.

Fairly easy to construct, the directions are clear (enough). Yet the stand tilts a bit, and doesn't seem as sturdy as I'd like for carrying such an expensive flat screen on top of it. I've built other stands from kits, and this is by far the least reliable of them, based on my perceptions in a few hours after setup.

Solid design, with a few quarks, Keep in mind this is a full size TV stand, not a full size shelf system, (check the dimensions). Very sturdy, the tempered glass is of quality standards ( stepped on it unsupported, on accident, did not break) cable management is great, the mesh grill in the middle piece can hold 2 6-outlet strips (I used screws in place)

This TV stand is very well made and heavy duty. It was not difficult to assemble and has plenty of room for all components.

I guess you get what you pay for. Its cheap, and its built cheap. Not a well constructed piece. Looks ok, but really not worth even the $125 or so. Typical inexpensive manufacturing and minimal quality. Not something I feel great about putting an $800 tv on top of, but as usual, once you put it together, you're pretty well stuck unless you want to disassemble, re-pack, and pay your own shipping back to amazon . So it'll work until I can find something better, but my advise to to stay away.

I bought two, one for my living room the other for my loft. Unfortunately, during the move I broke my 47" and ordered a 60". I got online to see the weight limit and came across the first review so I was scared to put my tv on it. Once I put it together I knew it was strong, I don't know why the other guy had a problem but I used a cordless drill to tighten the screws and it's the shit. All blacked out. Buy it.
