Put into boxes that hold silver jewelry it keeps pieces shiny for a long, long time w/o having to resort to dipping (and potentially wearing away the surfaces).

I am amazed at how well these strips work, so much so that I've made multiple purchases and shared them with family and friends. After cleaning my silver jewelry, I store the pieces in various boxes and include one strip in each box; if the box is small, the pieces can be cut to size. The jewelry stays tarnish-free for a surprising amount of time! My first purchase of the strips was over two years ago. The jewelry I used them for is still in shiny, perfect condition. Super easy to use and the results could not be better.

I have always used 3M anti tarnish strips but they were not offered on Amazon. These strips got almost 5 stars so I gave them a try. I have always had good luck with 3M and was hesitant to try a no name brand so I hope the reviews are honest and genuine. I started with cleaned and polished silver. Then just placed the strips in the cabinet. There were no directions included in the plain Jane packaging. The 3M anti tarnish strips are marked and are like a thin construction paper. There is one in the champagne bucket next to this brand. These Intercept tarnish strips are almost like thin vinyl. The directions for 3M say just place the strips in the cabinet. It can touch the silver but doesn’t have to. Only time will tell if theses work. I did use an old unopened 3M pack of strips in the silver hutch. They were old and I didn’t know if they would still work even tho they were unopened. Hence why I bought another package of anti tarnish strips. My cabinet is not airtight but the doors fit snug. The 3M work great hopefully these do too. I won’t be able to update for a while.

I put one of these in the box holding our sterling silverware, and in a cabinet with some other silver and silverplate items. They last a long, long time! Love 'em!

I read that this was supposed to be a package of 10 strips, but they must have run out, so I got a package of 4 strips total. They are thin, and cheap feeling, and expensive for what they are. I’ve previously used 3M strips and those were much higher quality feeling, so I’ll see how well these work over time. I’d send them back, but live too far away from the nearest UPS store to waste a half tank of fuel to return. I’ll just have to buy 3M strips elsewhere in the future.

Very handy. Simple to use. Really slow down silver tarnishing.
