Works for regular ESE Pods with no problem.

Ordered a deLonghi Dedica Arte slim espresso maker for my coffee counter. I wanted something slim and only needed so much water. Had a typical wider deLonghi before and loved it. Found the ESE pods from Borbone so easy and providing a rich, authentic bold espresso without needing all the costly armament, so ordered the newer Dedica Arte which came with single, double and ESE filters. But it arrived without the ESE filter. Amazon refused to get me the missing piece. So I searched for an ESE filter. The first did not fit, even though it said it was the right mm. The second one I also did battle with—tolerances being the issue. It was a nightmare trying to get the ESE filter in place with the coffee pod in it. Never had this problem with the previous machine and ESE filter and Borbone coffee pod. The empty ESE filter would fit. Finally settled on using the ESE Borbone coffee pod in the SINGLE filter. This way it works. Keep this in mind if you have problems. Don’t break or sprain anything! It’s not you. Easiest solution for a great espresso. (By the way, I’ve found that using Half ‘n Half, a 20 oz frothing pitcher, and the stick-on temperature display for the pitcher works best for cappuccino foam.)

Not exactly like original delonghi part.Internal filtering mesh comes out occasionally.

Its an oem replacement. The fit with the oem portafilter is perfect. I didn’t notice any difference in quality.

Wasn't sure. It's a 51mm it is. The structure is perfect for ese pods in the above espresso machineUsed on Lavazza pods and they extracted a simple quick shot perfectly after setting my single cup duration pull for the machine. Definitely convenient if you have some ese pods to use.
